Well I’ll say this
Been watching some A22 the past couple days and Jones just dominates guards all day long, especially as a pass rusher. I’d like to see him be apart of a much improved run defense moving forward but his impact has probably been downplayed by many this year, including myself. |
Jones is a phenomenal pass rusher but his run defense is a liability. If he learns to maintain his gaps and literally just be a cog in a gap then it allows the linebackers to come down and make plays. Before Jones was getting out of position and it allowed running backs to run free at will

It may end up being a blessing that they don’t end up trading picks for anyone I guess
But I think no matter what you do, there’s gonna be Holes on the roster. No team doesn’t have them |

Side comment...Rodgers probably will rip KC’s D a new one. But there isn’t much out there to acquire that’s going to change the course of this season. Health of our current players is the #1 goal. KC has enough, when close to full strength, to beat anyone home or away. |
Can Jones move to DE? if he can then I ain't got any problems with keeping him. I just need to see him step up where stopping the run is concerned, That's all.

I am starting to believe that we play with the team we have.
Not because Veach didnt try but because for whatever reason, teams asking to much or not wanting to help the Chiefs get even better. Not much left out there that is "on the market" anyway. Watching the Jets the other night, the one bright spot they had was Leonard Williams. That dude was playing. Not sure why but he has been mentioned as trade bait. I believe I even heard a third rounder could get it done. Now thats something to consider. Unfortunately thats about all I can see that would help our team and not cost us next years draft. |

More people think we get PP

Perfect example of someone wanting to do something just to say they did. |

Idk I kinda wanna become the team that’s trading their way into 10+ picks every year now. Which would probably be smart given what Mahomes’ contract is fixing to look like.

Perfect example, he is playing safety in Pitt and they have some bad corners. |

As far as I'm concerned the situation is pretty simple. IF Veach can add a few defensive pieces to this team then we have a real shot of going to the SB. IF he can't, then we're left praying that what we saw against the Texans and Colts has been addressed by Spags schemes and some changes in personnel...let's see what Brett does. Because if we end up losing in the playoffs to the Ravens or Pats via ball control tactics then someone has to take the blame for that.
