After that hit, Foles was shit. He threw 4 picks that day and eventually was benched because he played like shit after that game as well.
Foles is NOT the qb I want in there when we are playing elite defenses like Dungver. They will get lots of pressure on him, hit him hard and late (with no flags), and their dbs will feast. Alex is the better qb against the better defenses IMO.

You think Foles is going to have time to go deep in that game consistently? You might have 1-2 chances the entire game.

You have to take care of the football and move the chains against good teams and good defenses. We don't get to play dreadful pass rushes and secondaries like the Colts every week.

Alex Smith had 197 ypg, 1 td, 2 int and a 69 rating against Denver last year.
