Bottom 5 Rumble IMO
Lacking in surprises that moved the needle, **** off Charlotte, other matches were pretty mid, Jey is a mediocre singles wrestler. The star power in the 20's really kept it from being the worst one. |
Not sure why WWE wants Jet in a Mania main event after that Uso vs Uso match last year.
Jey vs Cody or Gunther is kinda meh. I wanted Punk. Punk vs Cody could’ve been something different and finally gets Punk that main event. |

Seth v Reigns is almost guaranteed. |

Wow. I thought he was late 20s-early 30s. Rikishi must’ve had the boys when he was really young. Or I am just old, and in old denial :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

So yeah, late 30’s is right. They actually debuted before Roman. |
For how hyped that Rumble was it was pretty mediocre, agreed. And Jey? I'm sorry, that dude is an entrance and nothing else.

Can't talk Has a gimmick even wrestling fans cringe over Not a great look (even has a twin brother for lack of originality) Career midcarder and/or tag team wrestler This goof shouldn't be anywhere near the main event. |
Who is he even going against? Gunther? They literally just wrestled last weekend and I can't believe they're going to have him challenge Rhodes when Cena has been the rumor for a long while now.

Seth vs Drew vs Punk was probably their best work of the year. I was hoping they’d find a way to put the belt on one of them then have one win the Rumble and the other win the Chamber. Both challenge the third guy and we get a triple threat of those 3 to main event Night 2. Cody gets whoever in Night 1, since that belt has already established its “importance”. I get that you have to occasionally have a surprise winner, but I don’t get it with Jey. If you’re going that route Bron would’ve at least been similar to Brock in 2003. |
I was glad to not see Cena win the Rumble...but Jey Uso?
I could have stomached Priest winning and going after Cody....Bron Breaker? That would have been interesting... Jacob Fatu? At least that would lead to a match with Rhodes that could be interesting with a Reigns interference. Jey Uso is as bad as if they had Finn Balor be the surprise winner. |
In Jey’s defense, guys like Edge and Jeff Hardy were seen as tag team guys who projected as mid carders solo too.
I’m guessing Triple H sees something similar here. They were younger though and better workers. |
