I don't have any interest in a family.

And a 30 year old never married? They don't generally make it that far. We're talking female clayton territory there.

Oh, you didn't say that, but I think it's safe to say that you are concerned with your looks. Whereas I know I'm not much to look at, and losing all the weight in the world isn't going to change that a bit. And that's fine, doesn't really bother me at all. People either take me as I am or they don't, it's not something I've ever lost any sleep over, and it's not why I've chosen to be single.

Yeah, I tried to come up with a more sensitive way of saying that. Thought throwing in some humor might dampen the blow a little. Sorry. It was a general statment, not one directed at you specifically.

Luv, I never said it wasn't a big deal, I was just trying to let you know it's manageable and it's way better then some of the alternatives. And I never meant to assume you a prude, but you have self claimed yourself to be somewhat "sheltered". I'm sorry if I've managed to hurt your feelings. I really am.
