George didn't have to do this. He could have continued to drink beer and represent the Royals at golf tournaments. He's sick of the losing. He may not be able to reach these guys, but nobody, NOBODY has ever accused GB of not being driven to win. He is the closest thing to John Wayne or Clint Eastwood that the Royals have in their arsenal. I wish him well. I love his honesty and his fire. Good luck, we're all counting on you.

George doesn't put up with BS and excuses. That's the ONE thing I am looking forward to with his presence. He isn't a ****ing loser like the rest of this merry band of misfits.

How much of Hosmer's and Moustakas' struggles are the result of bad coaching / development? I have no clue, really, but I'd certainly trust a GM who valued strike zone management to fix them more than I trust DM.
