Got it. We got lucky with our STs turnover but they didn’t.

Where did I say the Texans didn’t get lucky? They did for sure. Bottom line is that KC was down 24-0 in a playoff game. You need some good luck to dig out of it.

Yea if you win in the last minute. Not if you come back and take the lead before ****ing halftime. There’s nothing lucky about a 51-7 run dude. It’s a ridiculous take.

First it shows that people don’t fully understand how good Mahomes is in and out of the pocket. Does anyone really worry about Mahomes making a play when he is forced out of the pocket?

But it’s really ignoring that all of those QBs that lost those games were essentially statues or held the ball too long and mostly had nowhere near the mobility that Mahomes has. All of those QBs were sacked more than Mahomes who was sacked 19 times this season.

The most common Super Bowls referenced are as follows:

2002 Rams Warner was sacked 38 times.
2007 Brady was sacked 30 times.
2012 Brady sacked 35 times.
2014 Manning was sacked 19 times. Only outlier but he gets rid of the ball quicker than anyone.
2016 Newton sacked 41 times.

Those sack numbers are much more in line with Garrapolo who was sacked 39 times this season. So which QB is going to have a harder time? Not Mahomes and I think that’s pretty clear.

Yeah. That Giants team was better at rushing the passer, too. 53 sacks in an era where the ball was thrown less than it is now.

Just, wow... it leaves me kinda speechless, he’s just everything you could’ve ever hoped and dreamed for on and off the field

Did Chris Simms really pick us to win? If so then that's very interesting because Kyle Shanahan is one of his BEST friends. He just said the other day how he tried to convince him to draft Pat.

Nothing lucky? Nothing?? 14 of it WAS luck. Dumb fake punt and then a special teams fumble.

They also got help from the refs on multiple 3rd down plays to extend drives. That was a lucky element for KC. The refs do not have to throw the flags. That was the same ref crew that allowed the Texans to mug Kelce in Week 6. Houston paid a price for that approach in the playoff game. I am very curious to see how the refs handle pass interference in the next game.

I’d pick Pat over my best friend too.

I think we’ve got a keeper here.

Why is everybody so nice to this guy? He’s made it a point ALL week to let us know how much of a toss up this game is and how much better the 49ers are outside of Mahomes.

**** him.

Yes, it was great. At one point the odds people gave Houston a 98% chance of winning. That sure fell apart in a hurry for them.

wachashi 01-31-2020 03:18 PM

Just 2 games ago, this dude was STARTING for the 49ers in a playoff game. What does that tell you about their secondary?
