Chemistry between a QB and his receiver goes a long way. More often than not, the reason why there may be a lack of chemistry between the two falls on the receiver.
Skyy is what he is. A gadgety type backup you bring in to rest the starters. He won't even amount to a WR3 and unfortunately, we would be very lucky if he gave us Hardman type of production which I don't think he can. Guy was just a bad pick.

At least Toney doesn't suck as much as Skyy Moore.

Thus, the second half of that sentence you didn't bold.

Gotta love these definitive statements after one game.

I guess I Misunderstood that sentence. I assumed you were saying you wouldn’t pay what we paid to get him back.

Fwiw - I think he’s more McDuffie + a 3 rather than Karlaftis.

Read that Kadarius is injured again? Something about his foot?

“Kadarius Toney’s left foot was bothering him a little bit,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said after the 17-9 win, via Pete Sweeney of arrowheadpride.com. “We’ll check it out. He played most of the plays that he was supposed to be in on. [Wide receiver] Justin Watson was dehydrated. He came in and got an IV, and then he was going to come back out if it went into overtime.”

We'll be fine

He still makes me nervous, especially after the catch. He does a lot of fighting for extra yardage in traffic, which is playing with fire.

At one point he fought for extra yards that I didn’t think were there and ended up eking out a 1st down, but then on another play he fumbled the ball backwards, picked it up, kept backing up trying to find a crease to get some positive yardage and risked fumbling again amidst a bunch of teal jerseys.

I suppose you just have to take the good with the bad there.

Dude has a weird style, so much so that I feel like it's hard for the play designers to figure out how to use him. Although I will say Patrick missed him wide open yesterday, I know it's not popular to criticize Patrick but he did - it's on tape.

Toney is not going to work out in the NFL. Justy my gut that this **** uppery and injury shit will go on and on. SB hero for sure but he won't last here.

Yeah I do think his injury history is going to shorten his career at this point.

He's like Sammy Watkins, when he's out there he will have some great moments but he will be out or dinged up most of the time. He probably can't be a guy you can build your offense around.
