Thank you for knuckle ****ing Belichick’s taint in the Super Bowl with Big Dick Nick

That was one of the things that made winning it even more fun. I've been an Eagles fan since around 1976, so I'd waited almost all my life for that Lombardi, so nothing compares to finally winning it but beating the Patriots and having Nick Foles play as lights out as he did (an Andy Reid draft pick, BTW), especially after that fool Chip Kelly had traded him away... it was just the icing on the cake!

As of this moment, Nick Foles is still the last QB to throw a TD in a Super Bowl. I expect that to change tonight, but that's the case as of right now.

From everything that fans can know about a person, Andy's a quality human being. I'd really enjoy seeing him hoist a Lombardi (as head coach). I do wish he'd picked someone else other than McNabb to come address your team though. I just hope that McNabb doesn't jinx you all.

WHAT THE EVERLOVING **** IS THIS ****ING BULLSHIT!?

Rain Man 02-02-2020 02:39 PM

I look back and offer a toast to ....

...my eight year-old self pretending to be a Chief on the playground
...my 17 year old self going to get my traditional pre-game meal at the restaurant near my house
...my 25 year old self subscribing to the KC newspaper because I no longer lived in the Chiefs viewing area.
...my 31 year old self wearing my jersey to see Joe Montana in the playoffs
...my 40 year old self watching the Chiefs balance shift from defense to offense
...my 49 year old self wondering if the Chiefs would ever be competitive
...my 55 year old self watching Mahomes play and suddenly realizing that the football world has changed.

This one's for you, past Rain Men.

Every president gets an interview before the Super Bowl

Rain Man 02-02-2020 02:40 PM

What's happening? Why am I suddenly getting political stuff? Trump is losing a lot of votes with this interference.

Super Bowl is supposed to be pretty neutral. But if you go watch the Seattle/Denver game from 6 years ago in New York, the Seahawks had a very clear advantage in crowd support.

I remember that well, Dungver wasn’t prepared for it at all. Prob the only one I can remember where the crowd was that loud for a tea

He doesn't want any association with the beatdown that's coming.
