Interesting article. Bad FA class should lead to more trades. We got Ragland and Erving last year.

Wonder if Veach would trade one of our 3rd rd picks for a young proven player?

I’d keep these picks because we’re already limited in draft choices. But I trust Veach in trades. He’s crushed it so far.

It's somewhat interesting that the Eagles chose not to re-sign Connor Barwin, who went to the Rams, but signed Long on a fairly cheap deal.

Their 2017 numbers are almost identical. Same number of sacks (5 each).

Barwin was an odd fit in the Eagles D after they switched to Scwartz, which is why they let him walk for a betterfit with a guy like Long.

Not really.

As it currently stands, the Chiefs have a 2, 3, 3, 4, 6, 7, 7, 7.

They’ll get a Comp Pick for Foles, too.

O.city 02-22-2018 03:52 PM

IF big if, they could get Richardson and he's the badass Sheldon, it'd be awesome.

Eh, 3 7s are a total crap shoot. I more or less was taking about rounds 2-4 since we don’t have a first

Reid’s son will have his hands full motivating Richardson and Jones.

Three 7's can be packaged up to move up in the draft or used on a Punter or on guys the Chiefs like so much that they don't want to risk losing as Undrafted Free Agents to other teams.

Multiple 6th and 7th round picks can be extremely helpful in building the roster, especially for Special Teamers.

Chargem 02-22-2018 04:15 PM

Thought I read somewhere else on here a lot of the 7th round conditional picks won't actually happen.

Richardson hasn’t had a double digit sack season since 2015 and his numbers are rapidly declining.

I highly doubt Richardson ends up with the Chiefs but if he does, it’s gonna be on a tiny “Prove It” deal and I doubt he can even prove it at this stage.

Seattle likely tags him.

No they aren’t

I will never understand how the hell Denver vcan pay so many players over 10 mil and have no cap issues. Two WRs and two dbs get over 10 mil per year. Von gets 20 mil and they are talking big money for Kirk. How can they do that and still keep the players they have?

They got guys on deals bc of Manning. Apparently Sanders, Talib and Wolfe are all getting cut.

O.city 02-23-2018 11:30 AM

Avery Williamson would be a nice signing. Only 25 and had a good year
