Not really. How many people have actually been vocal in their support of Lynch? He hasn't garnered a fraction of the attention Geno did.

We're the better franchise and we know how to develop a QB. We win division titles and Super Bowls and Championships. I am just stating the facts.

You were 2 rare Charles fumbles from losing the division and playing @ Arrowhead in the post season.

I don't think the distance between these two teams is as far as the Champs would like to think...

I think it's a good comparison.

Both have the tools but if they get rushed in too early they'll be done...

Genocide was a far greater prospect and that's really sad. I think Osweiler was a far greater prospect as well. Just a terrible QB class after the top two.

I was talking more in regards to how much CP is in love with him... that's what I thought was meant by Geno lite.

KC had no interest in Lynch. Absolute fact. He won't amount to shit like all QBs that can't play from center, read a defense, or call 'll their own plays. You realize that right??

Is that the reason that Dorsey/Chiefs had scouts at most of Lynch's games this last season? This has been talked about on here for a while now.

Lol. Please tell us all of the QB's you've 'developed' (minus Elway from forever ago) ???

We'll wait . . . . .

Elway - that's 16 years worth a of great QB play
Plummer - couldn't even really get into the playoffs until he came here
Osweiler - The Texans thought so much of his development that they gave him an 18 million dollar contract after 6 starts. Super Bowl Champ

All 3 of those guys are more accomplished than any Chiefs QB...ever. That's 2 and 1/2 QBs in my eyes.

So let's compare that to the number of QBs the Chiefs have developed

Unless SB's are your yard stick for success...

That dude has coughed up the ball a bunch in key situations.

Due dilligence. They wanted Treadwell, but too many needed WR to budge. The league taking the third ****ed them out of getting a deal done from what I heard. If they actually wanted Lynch he was theirs. They said no thanks.

He has coughed it up but very rarely in key situations.

And even running a play, at all, at the end of that 1st game was some of the dumbest coaching I've ever seen (until our 7 minute 2 minute drill vs. the Pats.)

Peter King said he heard that the Chiefs were calling around about Paxton Lynch last night but "it never got that serious".

He says it at the 5 minute mark in this video (won't let me embed)

If they wanted him he was theirs. They didn't and a desperate team did.

Paxton Lynch

I'm confused.

People seem to be pissed because Denver traded up to take Paxton Lynch, a guy who Dorsey did his due diligence on, but didn't seem to really want that bad.

And I keep hearing people throughout this thread and the draft thread talk about how Denver knows what they're doing with QB's, Denver knows how to draft QB's, Denver is the god of all things QB, Etc. etc. etc.

Yes, Denver signed Peyton Manning when the Colts released him. He wanted to go there. Besides the Chiefs were a shitshow at that point and had a moron operating the organization.

Now, that aside, please take some time and go over all of Denver's successful moves in the draft with regards to QB (sans Elway 1983). Drafts, trade ups, etc.

I'll wait . . . . . . .

It's not that Denver is so great at QBs or has a secret sauce there... And more that this is another example of the Broncos being willing to swing big (not just at QBs but in all things with the organization) and how that has created more success for them over the past 20 years than Kansas City.

I'm not even that "in" on Lynch. It's just another instance of Denver going big. That's why I'd bet the Broncos will win ANOTHER Super Bowl before KC does. Denver will make big, risky moves to achieve greatness. KC, under multiple GMs, has shied away from those types of moves.

You understand why Chiefs fans might be skeptical of the GM's judgment when doing due diligence on a QB prospect, right? When the judgment is basically always "not worth it" unless the guy is outside the first 3 rounds...
