Adams our 1st base cleanup hitter has only 3 home runs the last 2 months.

Adams is basically James Loney, a LHB 1st baseman with no power.

It's killing our mojo. He looks really bad up there too. Jay has cooled too. Taveras isn't showing power or driving the ball into the gaps but he is hitting the ball hard. Has a healthy average with RISP. Taveras needs to pick up a 1B mitt this off season and start learning.

I'd feel much better if the Pirates lost tomorrow but they definitely have the pitching match up in their favor. And the Braves might be the only team that hits worse then us.

Way to soon to give up on Adams but as of now you just have to pitch him down and in. I actually like his glove at 1st.

I'm not giving up on him long term or advocating someone else at 1B. He doesn't look comfortable swinging a bat. Just move him down in the line up. Get well in the off season.

OT needs to learn 1B because he is never going to be a respectful MLB OF.
