MU won the Big 8 12 times, KU only 5. Neither has won the Big 12.

Last time either won a conference title was in the 60's.

Last time Kansas finished ahead of Mizzou in the Big 12 was never.

Saul Good 11-25-2013 10:21 PM

Robert Griffin III seems to have remembered that he's a Big 12 QB.

Correct. And head to head the record is nearly identical so it's tough to judge really who's "better". KU is admittedly a basketball school and is forced to share it's resources with another BCS level school in KSU whereas MU doesn't have to worry about this.

Missouri also has 3 times the population of Kansas so the recruiting advantages are much larger for MU.

Sounds like Blaine Gabbert's pathetic career is finally coming to a close.

Sounds like Mizzou can get any stiff of a QB into the NFL...not a bad recruiting tool.

Smith
Daniel
Gabbert

Mizzou got all of them into the NFL

career with the Jags you mean. He'll be on an NFL bench somewhere.

You would have thought there would have been a conf championship, BCS game or Heisman in there with all those QBs.

That's a nonsense argument that I've heard for decades. Kansas blows MU out in revenue generation and the school until recently (2005 ish onward?) used to be a complete afterthought in the state. They compete with 5 pro teams anyway.

The funny thing is...Mizzou still ranked 29th in home basketball attendance out of 345 teams. When I say that people don't really care about basketball, particularly when there is still football being played, maybe you should listen.

The average D-1 basketball game played last year averaged fewer than 5,000 fans...and the numbers are declining.

Good luck on being relevant one day.

WTF are you talking about? Again, your CFB team is an afterthought and will continue to be so regardless of who you bring in.

kansas home game against top 25 conference opponent.

First Big 12 game of the season too. Had not even been slapped in the face by reality yet.

If there was a 4-point buck roaming around the top of Mizzou Arena, would anyone even notice it?
