It's not that the Tampa 2 is outdated scheme-wise. It just doesn't work in the current NFL which revolves around QBs. Teams have to spend money on e QB and then build around him. The Tampa 2, in terms of the salary cap, is EXTREMELY expensive.

My guess is that we're looking at a presser on Monday to announce Reid. If he's smart, Clark will make an announcement earlier in the day about Pioli's dismissal and take some questions. Make sure that everything negative and soured is off the table and accounted for by the time that Reid speaks.

Reid's initial presser should be almost nothing but positives. Looking forward, no looking back at shit stains like Pioli.

Reid is nearly a done deal and part of that was him getting control and bringing in his own GM.

Scott Pioli isn't in any position to do any "damage".

It didn't put us behind because there was no evaluation. What put us behind is the fact that Pioli is really, really bad at his job.
