Just draft DEs. It isn’t that hard O.City.

He sees anything past about 24 as "really just a 2nd round pick" so he'll trade them all for brokedicks. You know he plays Madden w/ the 'force trades' on and the salary cap turned off. |

So you could sort of get the same thing we wanted with Key by signing Rasheem Green who’s still out there.

I'm just not sure the plan to go into the season with a bunch of drafted rookies at DE is a recipe for success.
There's still guys out there to sign cheap deals for sure though. |
I guess they are waiting for summer cuts and picks.

There will be strong talent at that spot. We're in a re-load cycle. Use this draft to re-load your depth and then if there's another opportunity next year (and there will be) to search for a superstar with draft picks, take it. But you have to firm up the roster's foundation right now. |

Ojabo Karlaftis Williams Cam Thomas Isaiah Thomas Hutchinson Thibodeaux Walker Johnson Mafe Jackson Enagbare Sanders Bonitto Ebiketie All of those guys are pretty damn good and 10 of them probably have legit first round grades. |
The mocks have Karlaftis all over the place. I think he would be a nice get, and I wouldn’t mind moving up a few spots for him if the DEs start flying off the board. Wouldn’t move up very far, since the class is so deep.

That's why the Ojabo situation intrigues me. The only reason we may have a shot at him is because of the injury. Picking at the back end of the first round, we usually don't have that kind of edge talent on the board unless there's an injury or off-field concern.

Just draft Karlaftis and Ojabo at 29/30.
