Agreed, but I think the pitching will drop off, at least to some degree.

It will be on the offense to help balance things out, if and when that happens.

That's my fear. Our record in the division should be 4-6 games better alone.

If somehow the Royals were to make a WC spot. I think Shields and Ventura need to be the 1-2 punch guys on the mound.

The pitching staff if it holds true would be pretty daunting with how playoff pitching rotations condense and could make a lot of teams sweat.

I thought this was cool. Last night in St. Louis it was Chuck Berry Bobblehead Doll night. Statue has Chuck doing the duck walk. Guess that's better than him carrying a minor over a State Line....

Good luck against the Halos this weekend

Gordon excelled at leadoff. Why not put him back up there and bat Aoki 9th

I love this idea, but I would bat Escobar/Dyson/Cain 9th. Having one of them on 1st with Gordon up will result in more fastballs in anticipation of the steal and more favorable counts for the same reason. That would ignite Alex's bat, IMO.

We have a regular Tony Larussa on our hands!

Gordon's triple slash as a leadoff hitter last year:

.255/.323/.415

He was not that great as the leadoff guy last year.

Looks like we're going to narrowly avoid the return of Josh Hamilton. He's slated to return to the Angels on Monday.

Better than Nori. He's sporting a .654 ops.

What's the rest of Aoki's slash?
