That is like me in Madden on rookie mode. One play works every time.

The 15 to 4 connection looked unstoppable.

JPH83 09-06-2024 03:53 PM

He looked even better. I think his releases might have improved. If Holywood comes back guns blazing this is going to be scary.

Hoover 09-06-2024 03:58 PM

I'm surprised there isn't more talk about how Rice and Worthy are perfect compliments to each other. We went from Bart not being able to draft a WR to him drafting what could be the best ever #1 and #2 combo and it still leaves room to just go add other elements for the receiving game in FA in the draft. Veach has slayed his biggest demon IMO

FloridaMan88 09-06-2024 04:03 PM

Too soon to say that Rice is going to replace Kelce as Mahomes’ go to guy in the passing game this season?

Kiimo 09-06-2024 04:04 PM

I'll tell ya what he looked that was different.

He looked FASTER. That's knowing the plays and where to be.

Yeah, the threat of Worthy leaves Rice to feast on the short and intermediate areas.

A little. You can't replicate Kelce and Mahomes ability to make it up as you go. However, i think its almost a guarantee that Kelce doesn't get 1000 yards this season.

Excellent news! It really wouldn't be fair to suspend him with the trial being late in the season. Well done NFL!

DC.chief 09-06-2024 05:52 PM

Man he looks faster this year. His burst off the line is impressive as hell. Dudes got the hands, the size, the QB, and just the right pieces around him on offense. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was a top 10 WR this year if he stays healthy

What I really want to see is teams getting pissed off about it and putting 4 CBs on the field against base personnel, and Mahomes motioning in the RB and checking into a run, resulting in either a 15-yard gain or a timeout. LMAO

And he couldn’t.

Why have you left Skyy Moore out?

RealSNR 09-22-2024 10:23 PM

Some of you are going to treat this as an insult to Rashee, but I assure you it's not.

He's got a little Dwayne Bowe to his YAC ability. The man is TOUGH to bring down, and everybody here who loves to besmirch Bowe's KC career forgets about some of the absolute badass shit he could do with the ball in his hands.

Yeah Rice isn't afraid of contact. I still remember him bulldozing a Charger DB last year just cause he could.

MahomesMagic 09-22-2024 10:30 PM

Love Rice but 5 more games like this will put him at high injury risk.

I realize we are missing Hollywood but we can’t keep running last years offense.

Need to create more space and less Rice as Deebo.

I really hope he keeps maturing off the field cuz he's so much fun to watch when he's on it

pugsnotdrugs19 09-22-2024 10:57 PM

He’s a #1 and he’s gonna catch over 100 passes this year. 1200 + yards and 10+ TDs.

Now we just need to stop using Worthy like he’s Mecole Hardman or DAT and we’d really be cooking.

New World Order 09-22-2024 10:59 PM

Rice is going to be elite.

Future top 5 in the game at the WR spot

Worthy is on pace for 450 yds this year. And a big chunk of his production was on a broken play that ANY player would have scored on. He simply has not been good.

Not everyone can be Rashee Rice. He can still be an upper echelon player but the game is too fast for him right now. The Hollywood injury has been HUGE

Rookie WRs in the Andy Reid offense, I guess?

Worthy is more than just a straight line speed guy, he has route running abilities. But for whatever reason we really slow play these guys and only give them pre-designed plays for at least half the season before we actually get them involved.

I think so. Even on the JuJu TD you see Worthy run a crisp out route that 100% could’ve been a TD. However it would’ve required timing and anticipation from Mahomes that can only be built with reps and trust.

So practice and live reps are their best friend right now and similar to Rashee last year, we honestly can only hope that Worthy’s role/targets start to really expand in the back half of the year.

Hammock Parties 09-22-2024 11:06 PM

He really is our Jerry Rice.

pugsnotdrugs19 09-22-2024 11:13 PM

Rashee through his first three games last year had a little over 100 yards and a TD.

Worthy has 81 receiving (but has at least 30-40 rushing too) and 2 TDs.

So we’ll see where it goes. They should complement each other really well in due time.

Womble 09-22-2024 11:20 PM

His name is YACee Rice.

dlphg9 09-22-2024 11:52 PM

Worthy has been open a ton and just hasn't had the ball thrown his way.

This is the Rice thread tho and he's on pace for 1632 yards and 11 TDs. If we keep doing what we are doing, then I see no reason why he won't get at least 1500 yds this year. The guy had a massive jump from year 1 to year 2. He's just gonna get better and better.

Teams will focus on him and no one else. He’s getting the bulk of his yards from YAC. Love the guy and his game but there’s plenty of reason to think other teams can slow his production from the first couple weeks.

Not to say he won’t be an excellent receiver, but things are likely to become a bit more difficult. And 1500yds is no joke.

Seriously tho, this guy is a complete moron. Guy fashions himself some sort of intellectual voice in the NFL. Meanwhile his idiotic takes aren’t even consistent.

I don't give a shit what PFF says. I know what I see when I watch the All-22s and that is Worthy getting open play after play.

Everyone should have seen this coming after how good he looked in TC. He was dominant.

Humble brag on the prediction below and also for those of us (Detoxing, Iconic, me, etc) who tried telling people before the '23 draft that Hyatt didn't have it.

A possession receiver with average speed who wins contested catches OVER HYATT?

Willing to bet Hyatt has a better season than Rice.

Hating what I'm reading: possession wr basically. average at best speed, didn't test well at combine but in college won a ton of contested catches.

Rotoworld: A four-year contributor for the Mustangs, Rice (6’1/204) beat up on his group of five competition … except for when he didn’t.

I don't like it because we traded draft capital for a player who would have been there at 63, and probably quite a few picks after that. I would have disliked it at 63, but now I FN hate it.

I didn't know much about him, but was excited after I watched highlights. Looking more and more like I'm gonna be right about him being an All Pro, too.

Jalin Hyatt? LMAO Rashee has more catches this season than that loser has in his career. LMAO
