I didn't think tyreek would go out like this, I wanted to respect him but he has made that impossible. He should be thanking the Chiefs for giving him a chance when nobody else wanted to. |
And people ask me why i don't follow players off the field . . .ROFL

A lot of these players need economics lessons. They don't seem to understand the salary cap and just think every good player should be getting max pay. Dolphins didn't want tyreek any more than we did or Cleveland. Phin's just had the cap space and Cleveland and kc are paying quarterbacks big bucks.
Look at lamar...wanting money like Watson when Cleveland was the only team stupid enough to make that deal. These athletes used to get some basic business classes in college. What happened? |

Can't wait for Tyreek Hill's trademark ball hits his hands tipped in the air for an interception and Sneed runs it back throwing up the peace sign for a pick six.

I pegged his ass to Miami in Oct. of 2021.
The hair extensions the moment he touched down in Miami are hilarious. Did not see the beauty salon diva coming out of the closet though. |

But whatever. Hill was fun to watch and helped KC win and then got KC a bunch of picks. Much thanks. |

In this regards he contributed to two Lombardi trophies for Kansas City Chiefs, Chiefs Planets favorite team. |

Watched the show on You Tube and Tyreek comes off very well talking with Anthony Sherman and Gehrig Dieter.
Twitter is a real shitshow. Better to catch the original content and not believe the horseshit that people put on Twitter. Most Chiefs fan that watched this interview would be cool with Tyreek. |

They restructured his deal and he has $22M in dead money for 2025 now. Cutting him would save $12M. Unless something unforeseen happens to him in the next 2 years, it's unlikely you are going to find a better use for that $12M than Tyreek Hill. |
It would be cool af if they cut Tyreek in 2-3 years snd he comes back to KC for one final run before he retires.
|
no ****ing way he retires LMAO
drama queen he'll be back in KC to cement his HOF legacy with patrick it's my dream to see kelce and cheetah win one more SB, and then kelce rides off into the sunset |

With all the crap this dude is talking and how big his ego (the contract he would demand) is this is not going to happen. **** that ingrate anyway. Just retire and go to the beach already. |

My panties aren't in a bunch. I simply do not care anymore to hear what Tyreek has to say. He did the same thing OBJ is doing - trashing the franchise and making a point to mention how much better it is where they are now. They couldn't keep their mouths shut after leaving because like spoiled children, the Chiefs didn't give them exactly what they wanted. |
He didn't disrespect the Chiefs. He said when he comes to KC, he'll hate to do it but hes going to be our worst nightmare. How the **** is that disrespectful?

I'm glad he got his money. I'm also glad he's gone. The Chiefs won a SB without him, he can enjoy his money. |
I don't know. Sounds like Caitlin Clark all over again. If it was the other way around and Hill was originally on the Dolphins and the Chiefs traded for him people would be on here praising him for every word he spoke.
If you don't care what he has to say any more then why comment on the silly shit he says? |
Quote:
Spoiled children. Simple as that. |
The Chiefs are his only former team. Is he going to talk about his playing time on the Jets or something? Are people asking him questions about his feelings on the Steelers team meetings?

See, there are plenty of people here that cannot resist the cult of personality. They get all emotionally wrapped up in individual players and can't handle it when they leave. There's STILL people here that want Kareem Hunt back. Personally, I think it's all funny, in a pathetic sort of way. |

Kelce and Reid have secured their historical standing. The only question left for Mahomes will be if he's one of the 4 greatest of all time or THE greatest of all time but otherwise his legacy is likewise secured. Winning one meant a ton but in some ways winning the 2nd means just as much. It's locked in this era of Chiefs football as among the 6-8 greatest ever. Okay. The rest is just chasing the 1 and 2 spots. And unless/until some contemporary comes along to close or even eliminate that gap, our only competition is history. I can live with that. |
Quote:
That's how you know this was as much/more about pride than money. He could've had that final season be a void year if he wanted but his deal would've been for less. Instead he had them pile a bunch of money in there he knew he would never see to crank up his AAV. That's pride, not greed. |
Quote:
He was in KC at 810 studio for the interview and I think the purpose of the trip was planning for his football camps in Olathe and Wichita this year. Helps his former teammates get more traffic for their show and it was good conversation. |
Quote:
I just think Hill is being petty. I don't have to watch any one video, anyway. He's said these things multiple times, on multiple platforms. He's obviously disappointed in the way things went but he made his decision - it's time for him to shut up and live with it. |

I'm super glad Tyreek and his words are no longer with my favorite NFL team, the KC Chiefs.
It really was a case of addition by subtraction. |
Tyreek should challenge himself to go a week... or even a day without talking about the Chiefs.

The dude has trashed the Chiefs repeatedly since leaving. He had the audacity, after leading the team in targets, to say the Chiefs didn't give him enough targets. He's simply unable to be honest about his intentions. He took the biggest bag of money he could get but instead of just owning it, he's trying to clown the organization that gave him a chance when nobody else would. |
Quote:

You can really tell he misses it here. He could have easily taken a deal here making around $25 million APY and still went to Miami for half the year in the off-season.
His pride was definitely hurt last year. Can’t blame him. His QB won a SB without him and nobody on that WR room was anywhere near his level. |

I'm just thankful Tyreek can unite us all and we can get past the idea that Veach ****ed up by trading him after the Chiefs won a SB in the very first season without him.

Personally, I think even Tyreek thought he was the reason Patrick Mahomes was so good.
In one of his first interviews after departing, he was talking about targets, can I see the pill please, give me the ball please. Patrick, he's a helluva player, but just once I want someone to say you know, you him. He thought Pat got too much of the credit, and him not enough. So the NFL peanut gallery opens up about how KC won't make the playoffs now, and the incredibly aged Keenan Allen " This trade bout to expose some people", and all Patrick does is get Kelce and a hodgepodge of new guys together and set the NFL record for total yardage by a qb, pick up a 2nd league MVP on his way to winning another ring and SBMVP. That's a big shot to take and have to look in the mirror and swallow and say Pat really didn't need me at all to be who he is. Reek's head got just a bit too big. He thought we would struggle, and probably wanted us to struggle so that he could have his self worth validated. When it didn't happen, it probably hit him like a truck. We didn't struggle, his leaving didn't hurt us at, and we won it all without him. His only shot now at an "I told you so" would be to be the key factor in beating us in a playoff game. Which with their qb situation, isn't happening. He claims he's retiring after the Dolphins contract is up, so his window is very short. |

Haven't seen the video... But I'm guessing reek said something like "bitch, the chiefs better be afraid of me too"?

There's a reason Pat's trainer, Bobby, subtweets Tyreek and throws shade whenever the opportunity presents itself.
I think there was a lot going on behind the scenes regarding egos and targets. They're friends, sure, but I think there was a little animosity bubbling up before, during and after the split. I think even Reid had enough of it at a certain point; I remember in one of the SB week pressers he was asked about Tyreek and he said something backhanded like "great player, got lots of money and yards this year." Pat squashed all of that ego stuff when he had his MVP season and won a SB with a bunch of WR JAGS off the street. |
Good conversation. Tyreek will always be one of my favorite Chiefs. So many great memories. You feel me? :)

As a Chiefs fan, I admire a guy that was born with a tremendous gift of elite speed and worked as hard as any player in the NFL to become a great player. Watching how much stamina and speed he showed in every game he played for Chiefs was absolutely amazing. Is there any other athlete in any sport that shows that combination of explosiveness and endurance and affects the outcome of the game like he does? As much joy as he brought all Chiefs fans, I am not going to keep a catalog of gossipy look what he said when it did not cause any harm to anybody. If an interview with his former Chiefs teammates leaves me with a good impression, I am going to credit that more than whatever made Chiefs fans so mad that they forget what he had to do to prepare himself to do what he did to help Chiefs win as much as they have lately. If Tyreek's interview yesterday gets used inaccurately to make Chiefs fans get mad that is really silly. The way this got played by people that did not accurately represent the interview you could guess that the same manipulation happened earlier. Seems to me that the trade has worked out for the Chiefs the Dolphins, Tyreek and the players drafted by the Chiefs with the picks included in the trade. Should be interesting game next season when Dolphins come to KC. This thread will really be full of shit by then. |
