Pretty sweet win. Not what I expected. Defense is starting to get there, maybe. Not sure I'd want to play this team (us I mean) if we get healthy by January.

Great game today. Glad to split those 2 w/Moore.

Defense has really stepped up!

I hadn't even thought of that! Not only did he hold down the fort to beat Denver, but gave us a chance to beat one of the best teams in the NFC to the very end of that game. Plus kept us within striking distance to beat another of the better teams in the NFC today. 2-1 when two of those three games are against Green Bay & Minnesota is pretty excellent results to get from your 2nd/3rd string backup!

displacedinMN 11-03-2019 05:02 PM

It did not seem like we had a lot of Yards after the catch today

Was that right? But we got a lot of passes completed and won.

Minnesota has a very good defense and they tackle well.

Other than Williams 91 yard run, not a lot of tackles were broken and yards after contact were had today.

jerryaldini 11-03-2019 05:56 PM

Impressive for a Moore led team to score on 6 of its 11 possessions. That blows me away. Remember how you felt after his first series against Denver?

Just got home from the game and read through some of this thread... There are a lot of whiny pussies on here...my god... One little thing in a 3 point game and "we're done" or "that's game", probably the same folks who sold their tix to Vikings fans.

Yeah...there are way too many pussies on gameday.

At least wait until late 4th to wave the flag.

Kelce won't get much discussion, but I think he had three catches where it looked like there was no way he'd get a first down, and he somehow managed to juke or bull his way across the line. This is one of his most impressive games in my opinion, stats be darned.

FAX 11-03-2019 08:29 PM

I think Kelce is our most clutch skill player on 3rd down.

Which is difficult to say when you have Tyreek doing Tyreek things. It's close, anyhow.

But I'd like to give a good, old-fashioned shout-out to Sammy for his game today. He made some hellacious plays at critical moments and he should get a portion of the game ball. Maybe one of the pointy end parts.

(I didn't pay any attention prior to the game due to personal anger management issues.)

I guess that’s what you get with a pumpkin QB.

They seemed overrated against Washington, if the Skins QB situation didn't suck ass they could have easily won that game in Minnesota last week. They have a great running back, but the rest of the team is the definition of paper tiger.

16 yard catch right before Tyreek's 15-yarder at the end of the game to get in FG range.

He hasn't been spectacular this year but he has been very strong glue.

Chiefs=Champions 11-04-2019 08:07 AM

Given the attention he gets every week (and lack of calls) I think Kelce and been excellent this year. He might have lost some straight line speed, but he looks more agile than last year after his off-season surgery.

Nnadi and Saunders (and Pennel) were just monsters inside yesterday. Saw a stat that of the 71 yards Cook ran for yesterday, ZERO of them were before contact. That's ****ing unreal.

They nutted up yesterday. Damn it was fun to watch.

If Frank Clark comes back healthy and is the guy we wanted or expected him to be, this front 7 is gonna just wreck some people. Ward is playing well on the back end as well.

It's great how, magically, when the LBers and DL start playing sound fundamentally, teams aren't just gashing them.

VAGOMO 4 LIFE! 11-04-2019 11:52 AM

Jones proved me wrong. He proved that he can actually play the run. I would sign him long term and start him at DE and rotate him at DY. Clark Nnadi Saunders and Jones is what I want

O.city 11-04-2019 11:52 AM

Chris Jones may be a better DE than he is a pure DT. Holy balls. They're moving guys around, really cool stuff.

If you can keep stopping the run and get teams in passing situations, you can have formations with Kpass and Jones and Clark and Okafor and just play games with people.

Dirty Dan always seems to come up clutch when we need him most dating back to last AFCCG

Also, I haven't seen it around much, but if there's a better WR in the NFL than Tyreek right now, I'd like to hear it.

Those two are right there, but man, I don't know that they're with Tyreek anymore.

Those two aren't burners. Tyreek is the total package at WR. I never ever dreamed he'd develop into what he has on the field. Route runner, hands, tracking the ball, open field awareness etc.

Penney really stood out to me and Nandi just keeps getting better and better. Saunders looks good and Chris Jones actually looked like he was focusing on fundamentals. I really liked what I saw against the Vikings.

That was his first game. I thought he got a lot of snaps considering he's probably not even sure where the locker room is.

Yeah, he did. When I re-watched the first half a couple days after the game, I noticed his number. Took me a minute to figure out who he was, because I really didn't expect him to play so soon after being signed. Then a couple days later I checked his stats, and he had two tackles against the Packers. Haven't checked to see how many snaps he played; I probably won't. He looked decent against the Packers, just slow off the snap. I noticed against the Vikes he was much quicker off the snap. Just needed some practice and game snaps I guess.
