I guess if you plan a big party with lots of friends then you are probably locked in, so you may as well order it, but I've seen major fights fall out even the day of the event, well after weigh-in. At a bare minimum, if they don't want to make him move up now, Dana and the Fertittas need to privately read him riot act and let him know that for the rest of his career he has to make 170 every time if he doesn't want to go to middleweight. His bad weight cut probably cost the UFC millions in lost sales tomorrow night. |
if he didnt eat 16oz steaks and bbq every meal and walk around at over 200 pounds he wouldnt have to cut 30 pounds and give himself kidney stones. ****in idiot. i feel worse for woodley. dude has wanted to mess hendrix up for awhile. i hope he still gets his fight purse. he needs the next title shot

Dana White has just confirmed that Woodley will fight the winner of Lawler vs Condit. He also said that he now considers Hendricks to be a Middleweight, and the UFC is going to encourage him to fight at 185.
|
Everyone made weight except for some random unremarkable dude in the prelims. (that guy was 4 pounds over though, lol)
The UFC also allowed Woodley to weigh in to show that he was ready to go. |
It appears that Draftkings completely messed up UFC 192. Someone was asleep at the switch, and all players were still able to edit their lineups after the first fight was over. It now looks like they have cancelled all UFC 192 contests. Players are now demanding that they freeroll this contest and just take the financial loss from paying out without collecting entry fees.
I'm sure UFC will be thrilled with that, and all these Draftkings commercials running during UFC 192 are hilarious now. edit: confirmed, Draftkings inexplicably thought the first fight was 7pm ET even though it was known that we had prelim fights before then for at least a week or so. None of them bothered to double-check the fight times. MMA media are on this, because its a hilariously bad look for a major UFC sponsor. |
In case anyone who hasn't been watching is curious, the prelims were awesome, but this PPV has been terrible. Main event is next, thats the only thing that can salvage this PPV.

****ing love DC and ****ing love Gustafsson.

That fight was fantastic. It redeemed the whole damn PPV. Only one of the first 4 fights were OK, but that last fight was worth it, DC impressed the hell out of me. I expected a wrestling match but he stood and traded with freaking Gustaffson and made the Swede want to clinch.
This is not the same DC who got wrecked by Jon Jones. |
and.... begin hype. Damn, the UFC really stepped up their promo game. I am looking forward to this card though:

The DC we saw in the Jon Jones fight is not the normal DC. I expect he'll give Jones a good fight this time around.
How did Rashad Evans look? |
