I keep looking at the actions of each school and entity...walking a mile in their shoes and...I really can't blame anyone for their actions. Texas doesn't ****ing owe us shit.

Bebee is a powerless puppet not a villain.

Not to mention the dust hasn't begun to settle. This thing is not over yet.

Are you including Alden in that list?

How can you be upset with what he has done with the basketball and football programs?

Are you ****ing kidding me? He's the bitch of every other AD in the Big XII North. Getting punked in bowl selections by teams we beat three years in a row? Including Iowa State. IOWA STATE! And how about today's disaster? I really liked the part when he totally kissed Osbourne's ass not five minutes after he chucked him under a bus. Thank you sir may I have another!

We have both major population centers in the North, a huge population and no real in state competition. KU types have pointed out in the past that Missouri should be a dominant force, and they're right. Yet we routinely get slapped around by teams that split smaller states, and have no national credibility whatsoever.

I'm sick of it.

I solely blame Texas for being the greedy arrogant bastards that they are. I hope karma give them a big ass kicking in the near future.

Under his watch, we've had some great success in both basketball, and football.

And "today's disaster"? I don't see it. What disaster?

Calm the **** down, man. :)

Ugh... I hope you're wrong. That's all.

In any case... Mizzou will indeed be fine.

you both have some good points. yeah, alden has his faults. part of his faults are that we don't travel well. part of them are that he's been outmaneuvered inexplicably at several turns. however, he's turned around the football and basketball programs, and we'll likely land in a power conference. patience, kimosabe.

In the end, that's what matters.

And unlike everyone else... I'm not sure that won't be the Big Ten.

This is the key.

He may be the nicest, most well-meaning person on earth, but he's obviously in over his head dealing power players.

Let me ask you all this - imagine you're a highly touted high school recruit from Kansas City, watching this shit unfold on ESPN and in the internet along with the rest of us.

After what you've seen today, where do you want to play - Missouri or Nebraska?
