OK, Eskin just came on the air again; regularly scheduled segment. No news really. He said after the nine hour meeting between seven Chiefs FO people, Reid, and his agent Bob Lamont, a deal is close. Reiterated the "Reid can bring his own GM" line, and he played a clip of Clark speaking about what he wanted in a new HC on Monday, and said "That sounds like Andy". I would imagine none of this is earth shattering.

Again, if they close the Reid deal, I -- like everyone else -- doubt Pioli survives. Just passing this on, in case of the possibility.

This basically confirms that Pioli is out. He's not going to redo the contract. And Reid won't come in without final say.
