That bothers me too. I really wish it was Morninweig instead. The silver lining is that Chili really likes to run the ball. So there's the balance some of us are looking for.

Multiple reports of Reid and Morninweig not being very close. only had a professional relationship. Rarely talked after he left.

it's not our money to just throw away

Clark has rectified the situation. Pioli is getting a serious demotion at worst. Who cares now? If people are mad because we hire an accomplished head coach who gets his pick at GM and gets final say...

why do we care if Pioli is fired or not? I guess I just don't get it. He's going to get paid regardless might as well see if he's worth anything to our new guys. Who knows? Maybe he's pretty good in little bitch role.

Picking up candy wrappers after games at Arrowhead will be his new job. EARN THAT MONEY BOY!

I'd rather have Childress at OC instead of Shurmur.

Read it again. Reid doesn't want to call plays. He hasn't called plays in Philly for quite a while.

Why would he? He has no intention of working with Pioli.

It's funny how obvious it is who LaCanfora, Breer, etc.'s "source" always is in KC.

The Pioli question must be answered before Reid speaks.

Of course. That pressed would be a dumpster fire. Andy Reid doesn't want to answer 30 questions about Scott ****ing Pioli.

O.city 01-03-2013 05:29 PM

Again, Pioli's own mouthpiece, LaCanfora, specifically said, if Reid is in KC, Pioli is out.

One thing to monitor on Reid/KC ... Scott Pioli has final say written into his contract. So if he somehow survives, deal might be redone.

Redone? More like ****ing fired.

it's really the only thing that makes sense.

I mentioned this earlier: Whoever we hire to be GM is likely stuck with our current scouting department until after the draft, when personnel contracts come up. Same thing happened to Pioli four years ago when he inherited Carl's front office.

The thinking may be that in order to make the transition smoother, Pioli sticks around and helps with the transition, and in the meantime he can line himself up for another job in another front office, say Atlanta or New England, and after the draft, we part ways via a settlement or something and he moves on to his new club and we revamp the front office by hiring scouts and personnel people who are now available for hiring...

I would have no problem with Shurmur as OC. He has a lot more experience handling QBs compared to Chili.

Huh, very doubtful but what ever. Sounds like Haley with all the turds he had cycling out at OC.

O.city 01-03-2013 05:30 PM

Guys at NFLN are at all cost holding on to the hope Pioli stays in KC.
