Santa Cruz should win but it will be entertaining. |
Holy shit that was an exciting match. Never had heard of either guy.
Good free boxing on ESPN right now. Turn that shit on. |
Big Nog has retired and accepted the UFC's offer to work for the promotion in Brazil.

Lawler vs Condit has been moved to UFC 195 on January 2nd

It's all about dat UFC 194. Not that anyone cares, the product is getting stale for me. Mcgregor/Aldo is really the only fight I want to see this year. |
Since Gadelha has a broken hand, that frightening Polish chick Jedrzejczyk has been moved up to co-main 193 behind Rousey. She will be matched up against a tomato can who has no chance and will probably get her face beaten into a pulp.
So, 2 title fights on the Australian stadium show. Both champions will be absurdly heavy favorites. |
OK, now things are getting silly. The UFC just announced that they are adding another previously-unscheduled Vegas event in December, on 12/10, fightpass only.
So, leading up to 194 we'll have UFC fights on the 10th, 11th, and 12th. |
Conor McGregor says that if he beats Aldo, then the featherweight division will be "killed", and he'll move up to lightweight (155).
Thats a tough cut for him, so 155 probably makes more sense anyway. |
Him and Cerrone were trading barbs on Twitter...that's a fight I'd like to see.
Still think Aldo handles him though... |
The only reason I'm buying UFC 191 tonight is because of the 2 fights before the main event. PVZ might be interesting too.
If Mighty Mouse beats Dodson again, then there's no reason to watch flyweights until he retires. |
Team Alpha Male has clearly done great work with refining PVZ

Not sure how important this is in the UFC class action lawsuit or what all of it means, just interesting twitter babble

Nick Diaz's disciplinary hearing at the NV State Athletic Commission is underway. (to review, he had 3 fight night tests, 2 were negative, 1 was positive for MJ)
The state and Diaz's lawyers have each put forward duelling experts testifying at length and in scientific detail why their test was better than the other test. The hearing is every bit as exciting as that sounds. edit: Diaz's lawyer warned the commission that if they impose any sanctions, they will ask for judicial review. |
LOLz at UFC and Floid "Saline IV" Mayweather and cleaning up the sport
http://www.sbnation.com/longform/201...ng-trust-usada It's a long article that's definitely worth the read (it's also clear that neither boxing nor UFC are legitimately interested in getting rid of PEDs). |
