he'll have no say in anything other than being a grossly overpaid personnel guy...was pretty successful at being Belichick's bitch in New England if he's going to get paid regardless I see no problem with Hunt holding him hostage as candy wrapper boy

I don't know why Pioli would stay on. I wouldn't.

I'm glad Reid just wants to be HC, and not also an OC or GM. Let him be free to be the HC. This is all based on the assumption that Pioli will no longer be here. But if Pioli has no say on players or coaches.....I can live with it I guess. I'd rather he be gone but it would kind of be funny if Clark made him just do bitch work for the franchise while Reid basically called all the shots.

make him Reid's bitch and maybe he'll settle on a buyout it's not our money to just throw away Clark has rectified the situation. Pioli is getting a serious demotion at worst. Who cares now? If people are mad because we hire an accomplished head coach who gets his pick at GM and gets final say... why do we care if Pioli is fired or not? I guess I just don't get it. He's going to get paid regardless might as well see if he's worth anything to our new guys. Who knows? Maybe he's pretty good in little bitch role. |
Albert Breer @AlbertBreer
One thing to monitor on Reid/KC ... Scott Pioli has final say written into his contract. So if he somehow survives, deal might be redone. |
Vermeil said Reid did not ask him about how he thought he could co-exist with Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli.
