Texas can kiss their own network goodbye. The Pac 10 won't let them do that. If that's what they want they'd be better off going independent ala Notre Dame.

I'm sure its already been posted. But KcMizzou must of missed it.

"A sports media columnist in Washington has reported - via Twitter - that Iowa State and three other Big 12 members are in discussions with the Big East Conference."

I hope Mizzou does go to the big 10, because it will be a lot harder for them to make a BSC game there than it will for ISU in the Big East.

I actually think that would be a good fit for them..... the clones would do well in the Big East

I hope Mizzou, ISU, and KU all get into the Big 10. I don't think KSU can since they're not an AAU school.

It would be nice to keep those historic games/rivalries in tact.

That would be awesome. What would be perfect would be to get both KU and UK into the ACC somehow though.

Honestly... I hope ISU and every other team in the Big 12 lands on their feet.

Crazy times.

I think the teams that they are saying are going to the big east are ISU, Mizzou, Kansas, and Kansas State.

Good god... can you imagine the conference tournament wow

RustShack 06-11-2010 09:56 PM

Louiville and Cinci are pushing for it to happen. I haven't heard of anyone being against it yet.

Texas makes enough money without one. Regardless what conference they go to, they would ultimately rule it, then force the hands of the other universities. Money talks in CFB, and they are the big fish.

It's possible.

I agree, and that's the thing in this whole mess that I don't get. Texas could do that easily. Why don't they?

Fwiw, I still believe Mizzou will land in the Big 10. They're just (wisely) keeping their mouths shut.

Yeah, right. I'll bet that bastard Delany will never be able to hear the word Missouri again without laughing - at least as long as the current reeruns continue to mismanage things. Maybe he'll call Alden and tell him all is forgiven when he wants to see who else will step up. Seriously, how can he or anybody else in the Big 10 have any respect for us right now?

We need to clean house and get some competent people running the show. The ****ers we've got calling the shots right now couldn't sell C4 to terrorists.

That is all the media would talk about. Whoever wins the ACC will win the National Championship.

Oh wait, they already say that. ROFL
