Only problem with Andy Reid is he puts too much pressure on the QB. Vick should have been handing the ball off a lot more than he has this season. He was running for his life more than half the time when I watched Eagles games.

I guess he's officially senile now. :(

So whats the latest?

I caught the end of his report. Eskin said, paraphrasing here, Reid will need a QB here (duh) but there really isn't The One to be had with the #1 pick. Quoted the Chiefs' offensive futility in stats, it's close to a deal, etc.

He's coming back on in a few minutes.

I don't have a link or anything, BTW- I'm watching it on TV.

Every person who is saying anything is saying its a done deal. No one is saying wait....theres a glitch

Vermeil thinks a good owner doesn't care about winning or losing

Official announcement about Reid, or at least the introductory presser, must wait until the GM position is also completely resolved.

The Pioli question must be answered before Reid speaks.

Hey now. Give Clark a chance. When the Herm/Carl ship ****ing sunk like a stone, he made wholesale changes that most approved of. Now he's trying to do it again since the Pioli ship sunk like a stone on fire. Maybe he cares. Whether he cares for profit or because he really gives a shit about winning, maybe he cares.

A good owner pays you top-dollar to be respectable and have really swank wine tastings.

okay heres what my radio guy emailed me about 2:00 pm. He said he got this from his buddy he used to work with thats in Philly now, that's covered Reid for 10 years.

  • All of the structure of the deal is done.
  • Reid has final say over players and coaches. Free agents and releases are totally his decision.
  • Reid doesnt want to be a Coach/GM. He wants the OC to call the plays.
  • Will have equal power in the draft picks with a GM of his choosing.
  • Brad Childress will be the OC, if he wants the job.
  • No DC decided. All of the possible coaches for the staff are approved by Hunt.
  • Both Dorsey and Heckert have been approved for the other half of the say in the draft/GM position. It is assumed that Dorsey won't leave the Pack.
  • Pioli stays on to see how he can get along with the new GM of Reid's choosing. If not, he's gone.
info given as is with no guarantees.

Chili as OC? hahahahah Might as well keep Romeo as DC.

We're Chiefs fans, we're to used to seeing our dreams and hopes go up in smoke all to often.

BlackHelicopters 01-03-2013 05:20 PM

Any word on what it's gonna take to buy Pioli out? What's the number?

Hootie 01-03-2013 05:20 PM

whatever

if Pioli has to stay then so be it...

he'll be the third fiddle at best anyways...just another set of eyes

if you have to pay him regardless then at least make him earn it and get demeaned by the two big dogs at the same time
