Im actually losing interest in him. Burks is a freak, but Watson's quickness and top end speed with that kind of size? He may not have the power and thickness of Burks, but that kind of speed and quickness with that kind of size is rare.

Burks in our offense would be very interesting.

the problem is there aren't any bonafide "studs" in this class like last season.

Of course any of them could become a stud, but this class is viewed as deep, high-floor and lower ceiling than last year.

For instance I don't think anyone believes a Jamarr Chase exists in this class. You may as well let one of them fall to you.

In the last two drafts though there have been guys like Chase, Waddle, Jefferson and Lamb all drafted in the first round.

If the Chiefs have a WR graded in that similar caliber on their board, I think they should be as aggressive as possible in trading up to get them.

Especially with a team like Green Bay who also needs a WR1 and who also has two first round draft picks involved as well.

Lockett makes the most sense you still grab a WR in the 2nd or 3rd

For every one of those guys that panned out, there are 2+ Josh Doctson/N'Keal Harry's out there.

Trading up and then whiffing would destroy any value we received in the Hill trade.

Especially when it would take the same/less to trade for someone in their mid 20's and proven.

If O-city were Chiefs GM they wouldn't even have to attend the draft, and the average age of the team would be 35.

I don't think they trade up for a WR. For a number of reasons. I could see them trade up for a DE though. I personally dont think they trade up at all.
