While my boner is predicting Toney to have an 11/29/20 Reek vs Bucs first half on Sunday all he really needs to do is to just be himself and handle his business on the field and WBF

Toney will bounce back then we will win the sb

Hey now,

I crossed out having to upgrade immediately.

And yes, Rice might be a keeper.

Skyy is looking to take over for MEH and Hardman.

Probably no better than serviceable, but we can still hope for the best.

I am still a believer in Toney's ability on the field but it seems doubtful he will be a guy you will want to count on to be available to carry you through the playoffs.

So yes, even though this WR group is basically the same as what won the SB last year, with father time working against Travis, I don't think it's adequate long term.

It wouldn't be, but it's FAR too early to be making any such estimations.

But you see, it CAN happen.

Like the Vikings, Bengals, Cowboys, etc. wouldn't be ****ed if they lost Jefferson, Chase, Lamb, etc.

Yes, we need Travis Kelce this year, who didn't know that before his injury?

It’s the same shit that got spouted when Tyreek got traded.

“We don’t win the Super Bowl without Wasp and I don’t see any WRs on the team who can run Wasp!!!”

Uhhh ok. Then run something else instead of Wasp

staylor26 09-15-2023 08:25 PM

I'm hoping for a solid 50+ yards and a TD kind of day. Nothing crazy, just have a good game and show that you just had to knock some rust off.

Tyreek is a once in a generation player, there's nothing like him so you won't just replace him.

That doesn't mean you won't move the ball.

Well, last year proved it.

In my opinion this is by far the slowest/ least explosive offense mahomes has had

Blind. This is one of the fastest WR groups in the nfl.

With a healthy Kelce and a normal version of Toney that doesn’t have drop problems, we BLOW DETROIT OFF THE FIELD.

They needed us to be without 2/3 of our best players, convert a fake punt, us to have 8 drops and for a handful of other uncharacteristic things to happen to win by a point.

I expect a hyper focused group to dismantle the Jaguars something nasty Sunday.

Off topic, but could you please compare your confidence that Moore will be a good receiver now, as opposed to how you felt after the draft last year.

For me, I am more concerned about Skyy Moore. At least KT missed the entire training camp, and maybe had a reason to be rusty.

People at camp said Moore looked good in camp, and had made quite a jump from year one. However, camp is camp, and doesn't mean shit.

We have seen lots of camp heroes in the past, like Jesse Haynes, Brian Shay, etc. Looking good in camp is better than not looking good in camp, but if you don't produce when it counts, who cares how you looked in camp?

Even then, we win without the fluky pick 6.

We also had folks suggest that Reek wouldn't do ANYTHING in Miami because he simply wasn't that good or some****.

I'll eat that crow, but it wasn't for thinking Hill wouldn't do anything without Mahomes, I didn't think Tua had it in him to take advantage of both Hill and Waddle.

My expectations are the same, because one bad game doesn't cause me to believe less in Veach, Reid, Nagy, and Mahomes. They all said Skyy made big improvement and they expect a big jump this season, and I figure they know what they're doing.
