Tyreek's price tag just went up.

Red Dawg 03-14-2022 01:24 PM

When you stink you have to overpay. Kirk knows they suck and he got paid big to lose.

Red Dawg 03-14-2022 01:24 PM

Hill is not an FA thank gawd. he can be tagged next year if we have to.

The Franchise 03-14-2022 01:26 PM

Clay with his “Hill is signing a 4 year, $85 million extension” is looking pretty dumb right now.

It’s probably got some incentives that are driving that number up.

Four years in the NFL and he's never even had an 1,000 yard receiving season.

To be fair, he did have 982 this year, but still a massive overpay.

Is this fake? Says Dirty Dan stays.

Nope it's legit as it was 12 months ago!

That’s a contract for someone who you think is going to be a top 15 WR in this league. That’s asking a lot.

Kirk is a very good route runner and they need Trevor Lawrence to succeed.

I'm legitimately wondering if that's the strategy moving forward, especially after Mecole's slow start.

The logic would be to arm PM with proven talent at a critical position that can help win now, and develop the youth on the defensive side of the ball.

It's also sort of putting the proven commodity where you know it will excel. Like we know we're scoring 35 a game if we get Pat two more receiving targets. We can win a lot of close games like that even without much of a pass rush, but if we add expensive DE's via FA and draft rookie WRs we aren't as sure either side will make the jump. Then if the pass rush gets much help at all from rookies/cheap FAs it's just icing on the cake.
