I think the Jags might be the only team to do that. Maybe the Bills will give us back our original 1st? But I don’t see why the Bills would want him.

The cardinals might be an interesting option.

The problem is I think cleveland has the ammo to beat that

I dont know the math exactly but if the jags were going to offer Their 1st (or the bills) cleveland could offer 33 and something else that might add up to more than the jags 25th or whatever

again, they dont have the ammo that cleveland has but I do agree they would LIKE to....but how are they going to even beat the #33?

Maybe i am, but the league is desperate for QBs. They are going to be paying them 20m+ a year now and are willing to draft just about any QB that shows talent at all.

Alex Smith just went 24/33 264 yrds, 2 TD, 0 int against a solid Titan defense. He didn't have much of a run game or have one of his key weapons(Kelce) in the 2nd half. There were at least 3 huge dropped passes that hit guys right int he hand/chest which would have added another 80 yrds and a TD. So Smith should be 27/33 330 yrds,3 TD, 0 ints.

Everyone could see that the playcalling turned to garbage in the 2nd half when Reid (apparently) took over again.

I realize that most here hate Smith but other teams aren't going to have their feelings all mixed up with the situation like the fans do. They are going to see a Playoff level QB available for trade who doesn't turn the ball over and puts up solid numbers. They use 1st round draft picks on less almost every year.

The Chiefs need to pretend like they might keep Smith to maintain leverage. If they wait long enough a bidding competition could develop.

They can give us their 1st rounder

It just depends on if the browns are interested.

Trading Alex Smith will be the biggest boner since drafting Mahomes. It will make me completely forget about that abortion of a second half meltdown.

And Clark needs to take playcalling away from Andy Reid permanently.

None at all, and that's fine, he's an asshole..

He is gonna regress. No way he matches this years statistics. Some poor team is gonna get about 3-5 years of mediocrity. He won’t be our problem anymore so good riddance.
