Despite a holding and personal foul, Burrow still lead a lead-taking FG. Then Pat does nothing, Bengals get the ball and Iosivas drops a 1st down pass before the 3rd down sack. Then once again Pat does nothing to lead the team to the win. 7th rd rookie DB gets a PI on a 4th and 16 prayer.

Thank your lucky stars for a toe and a prayer to be 2-0. Luck runs out eventually.

This is just sad.

Looking like home field matters in this one being the games are always so close ( to state the obvious, doh ). There has only been 1 road victory by these teams in their last 6 games:

2018 @ KC - Chiefs win, MVP Pat goes for 358 & 4TD, KHunt 2Rec 1Rsh TD (45-10)
2022 @ Cincy - Bengals win
2022 @ KC (AFCC) - Bengals win
2022 @ Cincy - Bengals win
2023 @ KC (AFCC) - Chiefs win
2023 @ KC - Chiefs win (only game with a backup QB Browning)
2024 @ KC - Chiefs win

Might as well go back 7 games to make sure we capture all of Mahomes greatness.

I still remember the Gotchas last year when the playoffs first started...Mahomes will have to go on the road..YOU WILL SEE!

We already knew he plays equally good if not better on the road.

How many Super Bowl victories for each team within that same time span? :D

Didn't you hide after losing to an awful Patriots team and realizing we were right about broken Joe?

It was hilarious watching the media grasp for straws and treat Mahomes like he was some 1st or 2nd year playoff QB, which is typically when you'd have such a conversation like "let's see how he does on the road in the playoffs"... they wanted to jam that narrative down our throats and nothing was going to stop them. Not all the AFFCG appearances and wins, not the Super Bowl appearances and wins, not the fact that Mahomes was 28 freakin years old.

They've never had to wait so long to play that card and had no ****ing clue what they should do with him.

Probably a combination of this and one team adjusting for the other just a little better.

Browning looked better than this version of Glass Joe

I'm pretty sure he's a mult that's just doing a damn good job of pretending to be a Bengals fan.

Dude knows too much weird 'board stories' shit. The institutional memory 'round here is ridiculous and yet he seems to have absorbed damn near all of it.

If he starts calling Clay "Goatse" then we'll know the jig is up.

No no no. People that hide after losing at home to NE get no comments like that about them...I dub thee a turd

These are coin flip games. Cincy's defense plays Mahomes far better than any other team, and that's the key. Burrow being good keeps them close, but he seems to struggle when he has the chance to put the game away.

Pasta Little Brioni 09-20-2024 11:57 AM

Most of the errors were UNFORCED which means it had NOTHING to do with Lou and everything to do with Putrid Pat showing up. Something was "off" and it sure wasn't an average as **** Bengals defense.

I appreciate your craft Peeg. Cincy slows Mahomes down every game. It's a fight and a struggle.

DJLN's in here wondering if faulk is a real Bengals fan while we have Chiefs fans making up clever nicknames to shit on the GOAT. :shake:

I tend to think the Bengals have a better chance of winning the AFC North division than the Ravens. Harder schedule for Baltimore. Steelers are 2-0, but who knows if they can hang in there for the whole season.
