Did Chris Jones just restructure/sign an extension?

Did we just extend Chris Jones or something?

I think they'll be throwing a lot of draft capital at the DL.

Could see that. Go young and draft heavy on D, trade for offense. Makes some sense.

Or he had heard a bunch of talk after Hill got traded and just wanted to calm fans down.

As they should. This DE group is deep in the top 3-4 rounds. Get a DT and a couple of DEs out of it.

It would be an extension over a restructure....I would think. Unless they restructured and added some void years onto the back end to lower his cap hits.

Extend Jones to a few years to make that contract easier to deal with would be great. Otherwise he's gone next offseason along with Clark.

Lockett or Cooks would be a huge steal for us
