They're gonna have to blow up the thing anyway cause Tannehill sucks and they know it now.

The cost in both draft picks and money. I think you'd get better value for a guy like McLaurin. That's just my personal preference.

"The Chiefs are extremely interested in a potential trade for Bradberry. Compensation discussions have ranged from a late-round selection going to New York in a possible deal to swapping picks in the middle rounds, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.

Kansas City would likely try to sign Bradberry to a long-term contract extension if they acquire him, a league source predicted."

That would be solid.

Go get Scary Terry (bitch!) then.

Kiimo 03-29-2022 09:57 AM

Just because I had him in fantasy I'd love to try and get KJ Osborn from the Vikings.

That guy has talent but doesn't get enough snaps behind Jefferson and Thielen

I like McLaurin too. I just think that Big Balls Brett will swing big.

And i also think Carrol is trying to distance himself from the passing game like it's covid.

Seattle may be willing to part with DK more than the Commies are willing to part with McLaurin.

And i also think DK would brings some more size and physicality that Mahomes hasn't really had in his WR's.

McLaurin is 6' and 210 lbs. He isn't small. He's no Metcalf but still.

And Washington signed Curtis Samuel last year and then drafted Dyami Brown. They could see the writing on the wall that McLaurin isn't going to be there long term. Yeah they could keep him around to help out with Wentz....or they could trade him away and get a rookie WR in this years draft. They'd have the same time to grow a connection.

The Franchise 03-29-2022 10:05 AM

McLaurin
Juju
MVS
Hardman
A 3rd-4th round rookie

Now THAT is a WR room that has depth.

smithandrew051 03-29-2022 10:08 AM

If we somehow landed both Bradberry and McLaurin, are we already as least as good at every position on the team as last year? And that’s BEFORE the draft.

Maybe slightly worse on the DL without Ingram, but wouldn’t we still be able to grab him or someone similar on another 1-year deal?

That would be fun!

Kinda ironic that in trading Hill, KC will have basically countered the two deep shell defenses that frustrated the shit out of us.

Regardless of who it is, i firmly believe the Chiefs will be trading for a WR that's on his rookie contract.

I'd rather have a DE in that situation.
