Would you have said Tyreek would be a Dolphin a month ago? |

We're talking about Bart mother****ing Beach. Dude swings for the fences. I'm team Shenault too, but i think the Chiefs are thinking bigger. A true #1. Honestly....It very well could be DK. |

I think he's changed to a team that has a ton of depth. A team that's good across the board instead of two all world players on each side of the ball and then trash because of it. |

But if there's something that Veach is excellent at, it's making a great trade out of nowhere and shocking the living **** out of all of us. As Somerset said in Se7en: If John Doe's head splits open and a UFO should fly out, I want you to have expected it. |

I'm just hard pressed to see them trading for DK at this point. |
Can someone with more knowledge tell me what is stopping the Chiefs from picking up Calvin Ridley now and put him on ice

"The Chiefs are extremely interested in a potential trade for Bradberry. Compensation discussions have ranged from a late-round selection going to New York in a possible deal to swapping picks in the middle rounds, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly. Kansas City would likely try to sign Bradberry to a long-term contract extension if they acquire him, a league source predicted." |
Good. Bradberry would be such a good get for us

We know he was willing to pay $21M+ a season on a star WR. Just not $30M. So i'm not buying that they're avoiding a guy they have to pay. What i WILL buy though, is that they're willing to trade for a young star player that they can kick the contract down the road for a season or two. The Chiefs can afford a #1, they just couldn't afford Tyreek. After spending the last week reviewing receivers, i've come to the conclusion that the guys they like won't be there, much like the OT situation last season. As you've said, they're much more likely to target a guy on day two. But day two guys aren't your #1. ONE of those 1sts will be used to secure a DE. The other will be used to secure a WR. And since Veach is missing his cornerstone for his WR room, and since no blue chippers will be available when they pick, i think they flip that 1st for a cornerstone WR to round off that room. As far as Shenault goes, he doesn't fit the bill. I think once they signed MVS, our room of #2'/3's just became too crowded. |

1. Does Seattle really want to pay a top WR despite having no Qb and rebuilding? 2. Carrol is Mr. Run 1st. I bet he's apt to trading away a player like DK more so than other coaches would be. 3. From a football perspective it's not hard to see how DK would fit in here. Could DK possibly be an even BETTER match for Mahomes than Tyreek? It's something to seriously consider. |
