Love it. Need Mikerphone out here.

The one interesting beer lately was from Florida... very smooth and tasty.

Oh, and Bananarchy from OHSO... they had a 2019 keg aged in mead barrels and a 2020 keg aged in Buffalo Trace barrels. :drool

Ha. Apparently I was the first stop on their delivery route. Got a friend getting into town later today so doing some prep. But yeah, definitely no complaints here. Hope you're enjoying your Saturday.

Think I have 1 2019 and 1 2020 Bananarchy left. Hard to think of a better banana beer I have had.

$15 for a 5oz pour, server said their TG bill was ~3 grand (granted, they did have several of their common beers on tap, too).

And it was ****ing phenomenal... maybe kind of reminiscent of Modern Times Monsters Park (but, it's been a few years since I've had that), seriously worth the $15.... and talked them into bringing home another 16oz at a discounted price. :D

I won the assassin lottery so I made my first trip to decorah a couple of weeks ago, and the biggest surprise for me is how good their entire term oil line is. It's never talked about because of their big 3 stout releases, but term oils are still better than the vast majority of BA stouts put out by other places. Too bad they never get distributed.

I had to Google to give my memory a kick, but yeah, those are hard to beat. Rogue had a weird chocolate peanut butter banana a while back that was pretty interesting, and I think I've had the Evil Twin, but wasn't that memorable.

Going back for more this afternoon, actually.

I totally get why their Mornin' Delight is one of the top stouts in the country, but that variety of Term Oil is better, IMO.

I'll make it there one day.

Speaking of Toppling Goliath, they have a new DIPA out called Hot Dog Time Machine which is a collab with local homies Hop Butcher

It appears to be hitting markets throughout TG's distro footprint

Vic Secret, Simcoe, Sabro, and Mosaic

I'm a Sabro fan and this is probably the most balanced use of it I've had in case you're leery

So buy it if you see it (preferably if its been stored cold within 4-6 weeks)

Would love to try one of those.

OHSO here on Scottsdale had a banana beer on its menu and I really liked it.

Bananarchy is OHSO. Looks like they also had a Banana Cream Pie wheat, which seems interesting.

Jeez, I wonder if that's what I had. I thought it had a different name and it definitely was not a wheat beer.

Tonight I picked up 4 craft beers, all so different.

Im drinking the Lil Pie Face first. A sour with salted caramel, raspberry cheesecake sour.
It's ****ing fantastic! I taste every flavor one at a time ending in sour raspberry. Just incredible. Poured close to brownish pink grapefruit in color. Very cloudy.

The Maple Pecan Yeti Great Divide was $10.

The Effin Awesome is 16%!!!

The Coffee Stout don't know much about yet.

Bananarchy is a pretty heavy stout... 2019 was aged in mead barrels and 2020 was aged in Booker bourbon barrels.
