He's in direct contradiction with what Seitzer said in his interview though. Seitzer said that his disagreement with Ned wasn't on the home run potential of guys, but when that potential would be realized. Seitzer said he felt the HR numbers Ned had jotted down on paper were 2-3 years away and Ned felt they could be realized now. In the interview with Petro, Ned said that the guys have the potential to hit HRs but "these are young guys still learning to adjust to major league pitching." That sounds a lot like what Seitzer claims he told Ned before he was let go.
