Guy saw Cassel in NE and then for four more years here. Gave him a huge contract. Even if this move was his call, how, after all this time is it a positive sign? I read and heard numerous times that Cassel was on the way out of New England in 2008 if Kevin O'Connell showed anything. Since he was dogshit, Cassel stayed.

Pioli was on the verge of cutting the guy in 2008 only to give him 63 million a year later.

I don't care what fire was lit under him, he needs to go, and go immediately.
