I don't consider him fast by NFL standards, but after the catch he has a BURST! I love this kid. Everything points upward with him. Great pick!
|
Did someone already post the video of him leaving his house with his community cheering him on?
|
It seems like everyone is a Chiefs fan these days, so in order to help my kid convey his Chiefs fandom is legit, his #4 rice jersey arrived this morning!

Well, this was enjoyable to watch.

Thats a rookie highlight reel to DIE FOR |

He is starting to remind me of prime Anquon Boldin. Big (Q had about 20 lbs on Rice), physical WR that no DB looked forward to bringing down in the open field. Fitz was an all time great, but I always thought the cardinals offense looked the best when Q was involved early. Several times this season by Rice's 4th catch or so opposing defense were noticeably less interested in contact.
|
****ing love this kid!
|
I really think he's gonna feast on Sunday......
|
I just don’t remember many receivers that go from 0 to 60 as fast as he does. It’s just insane how fast he turns it on. He’s also big and strong and doesn’t shy away from contact. I honestly think defensive backs are shocked when he gets going. And, half of them want no part of him. He’s just going to be so unbelievably good!
|
Hes a ****ing freight train one he has the ball and starts running

But if Rashee pans out like I think he will, all is forgiven. |

Love the kid.
Curious to learn more about him and Pat's sideline disagreement at the end of regulation. I love that he wants the ball if he's open, but I don't necessarily love him jawing at the GOAT in the Super Bowl, if that's what happened. Oh well, champs. |
His drops were pretty bad early on but this guy is one of the biggest reasons why we ended up winning it all. He really came on the last several weeks and that allowed things to open up for the offense

… and then we won the Super Bowl.
Good learning opportunity for the kid. |
The kid is tough too. There were a lot of plays where it looked like he was hurt and might come out of the game but he stayed in and continued to make plays. Good stuff!

I just see the competitive fire in both of them to be great in that exchange. Hopefully there's no genuine bad blood between them. |
Quote:
I'm gonna guess that they will talk about it in film review and it will be the end of it. You don't want a rookie challenging your future HOF QB in the SB. However, you also have to love that fire and want to win in him. |

But, next year if he complains about not getting the ball publicly, or another blow up occurs on the sideline..... now, we got a problem. Cross that bridge when we get there. if ever. |
I feel like Rice will really start taking over that Kelce intermediate pass role next season. With that in mind we need to stay aggressive finding other pieces that compliment him.

The game definitely slowed way down for him in the last half of the year. The concentration drops just vanished.
|
Rice is gonna be a 1300 and 10 guy for us going forward!
|
Seemed like he dropped more early. Must have just been 3 pretty important ones that made them stand out.
|
Imagine what he will do with a real NFL WR coach.

The WR coach was clearly in over his head. |

Not sure he was developed to his potential. I'll believe it when there is more variety to the routes he wins on. |

Was hoping to see some OTA highlights like him running fast and bouncing off a couple guys before making a catch and walking off chill af with the offense.

Welp, a few pizzas should fix this whole mess. Done and done.
|
Confirms my theory that Rashee Rice (of the KC Chiefs) is actually a hero.
His thoughts are with the pizzas. Walter Payton Man of the Year? |

This is clearly an attempt at some good PR, but there's nothing wrong with that. |

yeah, I'm sure it is. But at least something kind of good is coming out of his shitshow, so there's that. |

Look I’m not defending him or his actions, but all we can say for sure right now is the guy ****ed up big time and probably needs to change how he goes about making choices in life. How he responds to this ****up will determine if he’s a shitty human. And that can only be done with time. But hey, this is at least a start. If he’s spending his time handing out pizza and water, then that’s time not spent driving dangerously and fleeing the scene of an accident. |

Rice may well be a shitty human being but anyone being honest knows we don't really have enough info to come to that conclusion. |
If “million dollar company pizza party bonus” were a person it would be Rice
ROFL. I would have throw that shit back at him lol. Used those poor people for publicity. Geez |

Agree. Seeing a bunch of instagram reels and stories too and all the comments are limited and they are all positive. Rehabbing his image, now if he rehabs his decision-making process that's a step towards all this going away. But uh, no more slip-ups man.
