Someone should photoshop the Chiefs giving the peace symbol to Tyreek as they go into the playoffs with Tyreek fishing.

There is chasing the money or knowing long term you can go down as a legend with multiple rings...
Who is going to make the most in the long run? |
Bradley Chubb is injured and out. I'm shocked.
Miami overpaid for that invalid. |
This looks familiar.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The grass isn't greener in Miami, but the money is. <a href="https://t.co/w1mKmAZ8zZ">pic.twitter.com/w1mKmAZ8zZ</a></p>— ️ Red Tribe Cinema (@ClayWendler) <a href="https://twitter.com/ClayWendler/status/1609927632501481473?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 2, 2023</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
For all of Tyreek's football talents, he is not, and has never been, a very good hands catcher.
That drop was a great example. He's squared up with the QB, it's a catchable ball, and it somehow hits Hill in his bicep lol ball literally didn't even hit his hands. I'm just not sure what he was seeing there. |
Quote:
This play only happened because he negated a first down on the previous play by not getting set before the snap. That was a game swinging series entirely on him. His mind seemed to be elsewhere yesterday. |
Which is kind of weird because he's a great high-point hands catcher.
But any pass that hits him between the numbers and thighs becomes a lot more difficult for him for some reason. |

“Chiefs wide receivers coach Joe Bleymaier told Fox Sports that it was “liberating” to scheme up deep shots this year without Hill, which sounds awfully counterintuitive. Bleymaier, who served as a pass game analyst before this season, explained that not having to design everything for Hill allowed Kansas City’s staff to “conceptualize downfield concepts where we could incorporate all different guys from perhaps different sides of the formation.”

Anyway, my condolences. Must be tough for you to watch this team win a Super Bowl :( |

What a miserable ****. |
Looks like both teams benefited from this trade.
Without Hill, Miami was a 6 or 7 win team at best. |

HAs a team ever traded a player as impactful as Tyreek and then won the SB the next year?
I mean, it's ****ing mind-boggling how Mahomes and Andy are this good. |
Hill got his money and gets to be the center of attention in Miami.
Chiefs got a Super Bowl and a youth infusion. Win win, of sorts. |
Quote:
It's a remarkable feat. Turns out all of the homers here predicting that Mahomes would get better after jettisoning Tyreek weren't actually homers at all. |

So the Chiefs traded Tyreek, still won the SB, and are now set up MUCH better long term because of it.

Dude could have just said "I was wrong" back when they made the AFCCG for the first time in 30 years or won a SB for the first time in 50... but if those events weren't enough, I'm not sure anything will be. It's hard to assume he's really a Chiefs fan at this point and not a Patriots troll or something, but I really can't imagine waiting decades for this kind of success and then being so ****ing angry about it because it doesn't jive with how you think football games should be won. https://y.yarn.co/f7371304-bfa6-4e0e...bd693_text.gif |

Definitely a fun thread. Hell, you read my posts on the first day you'd think I hated the move. 48 hours later I'm taking shrapnel for being a cockeyed optimist. But yeah - the Raiders fan saying he'd take LVRs roster over ours has to be the top of the pile. |
So....R8ER....we got to see how good PM really is now..................can you describe how good that is for us.....real quick?

That's always my point with 7th rounders - many of the guys you take there would've been guys you could've signed anyway. The value of the pick comes less in the player than it does the elimination of risk. I think Watson and Johnson are UDFAs out of this draft. And Pacheco had already fallen so far (down to 250) that it's fair to think he would've been as well. So I don't know that you can do a 1 for 1 proxy on the player and the pick value here; there's an excellent chance any/all of them would've still ended up on the squad. |
7th round picks aren't worth a shit unless you get lucky
