Branson is SOOOOO much more than that now. There's plenty of that shit running around, but it's diversified in ways I didn't expect when I moved down here 3 years ago. I absolutely love the area. The food sucks, but there's a **** ton to do for anyone.

I want to lay this out on the table, regarding Hootie's ability to see the importance in 'interesting' while posting as a poster on CP - "Interesting" - it's not used often on here, when others recognize various Posters' talent.

"Interesting" is the best quality a CPer can bring to the table - just before humor.

I guess it's probably gonna be in August, my buddy owns a body shop and is getting his car done. He was on me hard yesterday about a cruise night/show sometime then down there.

His mom has a timeshare we stay at lol.

Yeah, do it. The Branson River Belle Showboat is one of the best values in this town. $50 a head gets you a cruise, dinner, and a show. I don't know I can discount that one, but if I can I will.

I used to know a country singer from here in Hawaii (I used to play in a country band) that spent two years in the 90s in Branson opening up for Rich Little. She said that there was no one under 50 there....:)

Of course neither one of us is under 50 now. :)
