Joel Klatt had Karlaftis ranked 18th overall. Pretty much everybody had this guy in their Top 20 except Mel Kiper.

Which NFL quarterback are you most excited to sack?” Well, when Karlaftis was asked the question during his podium session following Thursday night’s first round, he didn’t even hesitate. He knew exactly who he wanted to sack and it was the AFC West’s newest quarterback.

“I’d say, probably Russell Wilson,” Karlaftis explained, via Mile High Huddle editor Zack Kelberman. “The guy has had a lot of success. He’s a little guy. He’s going to run around and scramble and all that kind of stuff. Looking forward to getting after him.”

If the Chiefs don't select another DT or sign one after the draft then the Chiefs are planning to play Karlaftis at D-Tackle at times.
