He's near the bottom of the league in average depth of target once again.

HE is the reason our offense was 23rd in scoring going into Indy.

Guess Andy, Alex or any player traded to this team cant be a chief fan either, what a tool and you just proved my point about adults/children.

If you've got time between now and Sunday when Foles makes his start, could you please kill yourself? That'd be lovely.

Bull ****ing shit.

You and Claynus can 69 each other all you want at the thought of Nick Foles under center but MOST people care whether or not the team is a consistent winner and playoff participant, not whether or not the QB "throws down field" or rakes up fantasy points.

You and every one of Clay's minions can all go and **** each other and yourselves.

Winning trumps all.

This. All day, every day.

... and **** you for making me agree with you, Dane. :p

This is about ACTUAL points.

The Chiefs offense was 23rd in ACTUAL points going into last weekend.

Nick Foles put ACTUAL points on the board.

He has a history of putting ACTUAL points on the board under Andy Reid.

You don't understand, you put someone under center and see if they 'have the huevos' to say **** it and chuck it.

If not, you start over.

There's only 7 1/2 billion people on earth. Somewhere among them is a good 4-5 guys who fit the mold. How long can it take?

Foles is not better than Smith...maybe after an entire off-season/training camp and 1 1/2 years in the Chiefs system, we'll see. Right now...no. Indy wasn't game planning for Foles to come in...teams recognize tendencies and react accordingly.

I wouldn't want him chucking up ducks against Denver's cornerbacks...

All I'm saying is this: November 27th, @ Denver. Give me Alex.

You think Foles is going to have time to go deep in that game consistently? You might have 1-2 chances the entire game.

You have to take care of the football and move the chains against good teams and good defenses. We don't get to play dreadful pass rushes and secondaries like the Colts every week.

Update: Smith passed his imPACT test with the independent Neurologist today confirming again that he is NOT showing concussion symptoms despite 4 days of evaluations.

There's concern that the fluid buildup/hematomas around his ears from multiple games with blows to the helmet caused his brief dizziness. No nausea, vomiting, Loss of consciousness, posturing, muscle rigidity on review of the footage.

Leave the testing to the doctors, CP.

He sure looked to have muscle rigidity on one of those, the second iirc (would need to re watch to confirm) he planked for a second.

I guarantee he was out.

So then who do you play against Oakland or Pittsburgh or San Diego who can put up points in a hurry? We can't rely on 4th quarter monster rallies or expect the defense to continually shut the raiders out. Alex struggles against teams who can put up points. It works both ways. He has ability to use a second gear but chooses not to.

That's really my issue. I'm confident that Foles will be able to roll over crap teams, but underthrowing a ball by 10 yards like that air ball to Hill last weekend will get you an interception every time against a good team.

I'm excited to see what Foles can do next weekend, but as of now there's no doubt that I'd rather have Alex over Nick against the Broncos and in the playoffs.

The defense can consistently play well. They did it last year and ever since Pittsburgh they've done it against some of the best offenses you can possibly play without their best player in Justin Houston.

The Pittsburgh game was a fluke. A few balls don't bounce your way, the defense was banged up and they go down 22-0 in a flash. Hard to come back from in those circumstances.

What's the over/under on % of passes from behind LOS decreasing by 50% or more?
