Fair enough.

By why risk it? Dude couldn't stand after the first hit.

Especially when. The backup is playing just fine.

Now? Now they put him at risk, he got abused and the results aren't favorable...

Sounds smart to me.

Yep

It was stupid to let him back him in, whether he passed the test or not... all I could think when he walked back to the sideline was "how the hell did he fool those doctors?"

Two big hits in the same day could put him out multiple weeks, not just one

Foles was doing great, Reid didnt do anyone any favors with that move

And that game was never really in doubt at any point. Indy couldn't do anything on offense all day. I've never felt less nervous facing Andrew Luck in the second half of a game. We'd have had to give them short fields for them to get back into it.

Could have long term season lasting impact on this team and it's success.

Dumb dumb move.

Smith is and will be the starter, but picking up Foles was huge.

Yep. I was texting to my son and another friend that it sucks when your QB gets a concussion but at least we have a good backup.

Reerun_KC 10-30-2016 04:26 PM

They now have one. And if Foles plays next week and has a solid game it will be full on the minute Smith comes back and goes full Smith...

Wouldn't you protect the main piece of your team a little more?

Lot of money just to piss off with bad protocol and dumb ass play calling be big red.

I'm sure they trusted their doctor(s) to make the right call in that situation. Albeit, it doesn't appear that was what happened. I don't blame Reid for that.

I'm sure people will find ways to blame the oline or the lack of offensive weapons.

Yes, Alex got his one token TD pass after a short-field drive. That is his MO. One per game.

I'm just glad to have a guy who doesn't play scared

No but I do blame him for the play call that put smith in a position to get smoked again.

Now we have a QB eating his breakfast through a straw for awhile while signing Mary had a little lamb...

Totally agree it was a bad move, but it remains to be seen what long term impact it may or may not have... Foles is a very capable guy

Thats the only reason that makes any sense, Smith is Andys guy come hell or high water

Its why I said in a different thread, that no matter what Foles does in the next 1-2 games... Smith is going back in when he is ready, the only QB controversy will be in our heads

Eh looked under thrown but thats why I want those chances. Hill fights for the ball and has awesome tracking skills. Plus you can draw a PI and other penalties not to mention it backs the defense up.

yeah that ball was very under thrown

LMAO, never fails. The second a backup QB throws a TD everyone wants him to start. Just remember there is a reason Foles is a back up. He looked good and I like him compared to say Daniel but come on, it was one game against a shit defense that didn't plan against him.
