Most over looked quality that he possesses. He brings an energy and swagger that the defense seriously lacks. Every great defense has that presence.

It wouldn't have taken much to trade with the Eagles and grab Manziel. Tweets were coming out that Reid mentioned he liked him as he was inching ever so closer. It was pretty obvious that the Eagles weren't going to grab him after Foles' rookie season and that the Chiefs were the next potential suitor for a QB, but they sat with idle hands as another team made a move to grab their franchise QB.

Jesus why are people so freakin stupid. We drafted a play maker, for defense. None of the WR's or S's were near worthy @23, and Dee Ford is a far better football player than any CB on the board.

While i'd love to move back for an extra pick or two, we got a very good football player at a premium position, pass rusher, not a DLineman dumbasses.

This is NOT a reach, this is NOT a "replacement" pick, this is good value, a great football player at a premium play making position, AND a HUGE need for our team.

As much as I want KC to draft a 1rst round QB I don't think this was the time to do it. Alex Smith is in his prime and will be OK for 4-5 more years. We still don't know what we have in Bray.

The more I think about it, the more I like the Ford pick. If he can stay healthy. I know it's a big 'if'.

Alex Smith is on contract for 1 more year. Signing him to a big money deal doesn't help this team.

To the people claiming this was a reach, are you aware that it's been reported that the Falcons were trying to trade up (likely at 22 according to the same report) for Ford? The 2nd best 3-4 OLB prospect in this draft at 23 is NOT a reach.

I was drooling about Poe. I wanted the Patriots to find a way to get him.

Ford? He (along with Easley) is an excellent candidate to be a bust due to medical issues.
