WRONG. Nice try though.;)

EDIT: Someone beat me to it

You guys are totally right. Flowers only ran down the field with Decker for fun, not because he was covering him.

Tebow was trying to learn how to be a QB while Peyton Manning has mastered it. Denver doesn't need luck. If we could win 8 games with Tebow there is no way we win fewer than 10 with Manning, and I'm expecting 12 to 13 wins.

There's 1 surefire way that they won't make it to 10 wins..... I'll give you a hint, it ends with "out for the season after re-injuring his fragile neck, career over."

Besides... 12-13 wins is ridiculous. They have very few good players left on that team, and 0 elite ones unless you count Von Miller, but even he could only play a partial season healthy.

I'm thinking maybe 8 wins at the max.

His neck isn't fragile though. You guys keep saying it but it's totally untrue. His neck was healed and ready for professional football last fall. The doctors that did the surgery on the disc in his neck cleared him to play last season.

The reason he missed the entire season was because he lost arm strength and it took time for the nerves to regenerate. There was a time last November where Manning could barely throw a ball across the room, by the time March came around he could throw it 40+ yards.

If Manning were to get hurt it would most likely be a knee injury or a broken bone or something. His neck is at no greater risk to injury than Cassel's.

Just stick your had in the sand and ignore the report that said it's inevitable that he will need a 5th neck surgery.

It's not real.

That was reported by one guy during a time where Jim Irsay was in a semi-bitter PR war with Peyton Manning. Reports from that time period from anonymous sources should be disregarded.

The doctors cleared him, eh? They also clear a lot of guys who get concussions. And guess what, it happens again... And those injuries get worse and worse. Manning is on borrowed time right now.

Sure he "might" be able to throw it 40 yards but he certainly can't do it accurately. Besides, your wr's would just drop it anyways. I'm still not sure Thomas has caught a ball other than the one against Pittsburgh.

I'll remember that. 99% of your posts will be irrelevant now.

He certainly can. And he certainly has. He completes at least one deep ball every practice with pinpoint accuracy.

From Cecil Lammey...
Quote:

Executed a picture perfect play action pass to Eric Decker. Pass sailed about 45-yards and split two defenders for the TD. Manning’s window was less than the size of a basketball hoop but he put it right in Decker’s hands, splitting Tracy Porter and Quinton Carter. Plenty of zip on his passes to Demaryius Thomas all over the field. Fantastic day from Manning, Thomas, and Decker.

Quit trying to argue with Knowsa parks. Hes too persistent.

Omg. So a guy most likely getting paid to write good things about Manning posted something (which I'm sure he added yards to) about Manning throwing a single deep ball (with no pressure) and you think he's back?

And pinpoint accuracy is bullshit. You know Decker had to run like a son of a bitch just to get back in time to catch it.

Bowser 08-01-2012 09:00 AM

Peyton has it in his contract that under no circumstances are defenders to interfere with his passes in practice. I think I read that from Woody Paige.

In this case he's wrong though, and he knows it.

The point is that things have a way of evening out. If Denver does not get good luck and in fact suffers the kind if bad luck the Chiefs did last year, they are screwed. We won 7 games without three if our best players. Denver can't overcome that. And if a bit of bad luck strikes Manning they are really screwed.

I'm trying to think who would even be their 3 best players???

Miller, Colquitt and maybe Bailey by default? Clady is overrated, Manning is doomed... Who else would it be? Kuper maybe, Prater?
