Interviewing players is generally a huge waste of time IMO. These guys are going to give simple/ team speak answers regardless of who is asking the questions.

Everyone in sports does...

Like I said, I think they both came off sounding like Tards. Clinkscales should have stopped asking after the second attempt, and Moose should have just said he wasn't going to talk about the hits or himself. Instead, stupidity ensued.........

That's why sports interviews suck, and are generally a waste of time. You know the answer when the question is asked. But I understand why it works that way.

That's why I like interviews with athletes that have nothing to do with the sport they play. The silly shit. That gives you a look at the person... the personality. That's interesting to me.

Everything else is just the same shit, over and over and over.

That's a good point. I feel like 610 does a good job mixing in those types of questions to the players. That let's you see a side of them you normall wouldnt . Nothing more boring then "well we fought hard for 9 innings today, he hit his spots, he has great stuff, they're a great team...."" lah blah blagh..

That goofy little segment where they ask a player... name as many (whatever) you can in 15 seconds... and then let a caller pick the player they want to go up against... that's entertaining as hell to me.

Al Bundy 05-14-2014 08:59 PM

What a turd Moose has become.

610 does a segment with the Chiefs called 'inside the mind of..." Where they ask a certain player random questions that have nothing to do with football. It's great.

On one, Mike Catapano basically told Carrington he should lie to his girlfriend about letting a drunk girl sleep on his couch overnight. Mike went into detail about how to do so. It was pure hilarity.

Shit like that is interesting. (often hilarious)

Sooo much better than the canned responses they HAVE to give.

DeezNutz 05-14-2014 09:59 PM

At least Moose compensates for sucking shit on the field by being a bitch off of it, so I feel better about things.

Your point is reeruned because he went so far off base from what the question was. There was no relation or even acknowledgement of anything close to the question. He might as well have said "I had ham and eggs for breakfast today" because he wanted him to ask him what he had for breakfast. See how stupid that is? Nobody ****ing does that. You might get generic answers, but it's at least related to the question at hand. He just wanted to be a douche and he did it in a pussy ass way. If you want to be a dick to the media this is how a man does it. Not this pouty ignore the question shit.

LMAO

DeezNutz 05-14-2014 11:42 PM

We're surprised that a player who, entering today, hit 3-53 against two-strike fastballs is passive-aggressive with the media?

Moose. Weakling on and off the field.

****. Him.

Eagerly anticipating his demotion.

Anyone else concerned with the performance of our minor league prospects? I realize numbers alone don't define development in the minors, but to be perfectly frank, it appears to be a shit show down on the farm. Of duncan's top 15 prospects (excluding Ace), maybe two are meeting expectations. Not one is exceeding expectations, while several are completely in the tank.
