Andy Reid will build a better, balanced team. Offensive firepower aside, Vermeil just flat didn't win enough games. 1 playoff appearance in 5 years isn't good enough.

Vermeil failed to make the playoff 4 times in 5 years. In Philly, Reid failed to make the playoffs 5 times in FOURTEEN years.

I certainly hope so, I don't think we would just blow everything up unless..well we may blow everything up because it needed to happen either way.

Apparently on Tuesday Andy Reid was fully convinced that he was going to coach in Arizona. The Chiefs completely turned that around yesterday.

Yes. And?

You are blaming him for something not within his job duty.

Heh, doesnt even have a team yet as far as we know, but yeah he's gonna start yapping about his top pick in the draft already.

No, I hate him for what he did. I blame Carl, who should have been fired in '98, for allowing it to happen.

So he was brought in to win now, and didn't even do that. Can we blame him for that?

We won a lot in spite of Greg Robinson.

What's the source on that second quote? If accurate, Reid referred to the Chiefs as "we".

the question was hypothetical IF he signed with kc.

at that point it WOULD be we.

"they have the first pick"

Yep, Clark has some brass cajones, that's for sure.

Not even close.

Grandpa was 89-years-old and didn't give a mother**** about the long-term health of the franchise.

Reid is 54 and looking to coach for a long time. My guess is, if things go well he's going to be retiring as a Chief. He's not going to be the negligent asshole that Vermeil was.

**** him. And **** Pioli, Cassel, RAC, and this ignorant-ass fan base that doesn't recognize the beauty of this situation.

I hope we can get a live feed of Pioli taking his shit out to his SUV.

I wasn't talking about longevity or anything else I was talking about bringing all his old offensive coaches back like Vermeil did.

I just hope he doesn't make Juan Castillo D-coordinator again

He wasn't talking about hating him for not winning. He was hating him for sacrificing the future.... except thats exactly what he was brought in to do.

Reid in, Pioli out...best news a Chief fan has had in a looonnng time. Pretty stoked to see the announcement and the assistants that come with! Also, if it's Heckert or Dorsey as GM.

Brad Pitt is gonna play Clark when they make a movie about this season, and this meeting will be the thrilling opening scene.
