The first thing I was thought to do when being interviewed is to answer the question you want them to ask, not the usually bad question they do ask.

Cool. Which pro sports team did you play for?

I've met both of them a few times and each time they've been more than nice and very cordial. Always joking and smiling, taking pictures and signing autographs for anyone who asked. Maybe the "journalist" was just too sensitive to their joking because they both tend to present that type of personality. The joking could also be why each is under-performing.

Clinkscale asked him the same question 3-4 times. He was clearly egging him on so he could go on the show to say Moose is making the game about him because he wouldn't answer the question. He and 810 were trying really hard to make this a big ordeal. It's not.

Maybe he didn't want to talk about the hits because he knows that this was just one game and he hasn't done enough this season to warrant being a focus or deserving of praise after Vargas' start.

Then he should have said "Yeah, I was happy with today, but it's just 1 game and I need to keep performing at that level. Thankfully Vargas pitched his ass off and it only took 3 today."

Clickscale's "I was afraid he was going to take a swing at me." really irritated me. Somebody needs to.

But to be honest, I can't stand that guy anyway.

Yep, diffuse the situation and move on. I'm certain he wishes that's what he'd done.

See, I haven't heard the audio but I thought it was great to simply praise his teammates.

**** the media asking stupid questions. Like there's a good answer or he needs to dwell on it more. They're just being vultures and its sports journalists - not 60 minutes or Face the Nation.

You think back in the day asking shit like that would fly with old school players...

Like or hate Moose, dude doesn't need to sit at his locker and be shit on by a bunch of man titted assholes. He's also not the whipping boy because the club doesn't have the balls to send him to Omaha.

Yeah but that would have been better but the reaction by 810 was ridiculous.

"I thought he was going to hit me. He is giving the media and the fans the middle finger. We are just nerds to them and they look down on us. He is making this winning streak about him, not the team. We are just trying to make a living and get quotes and when we don't get them he is painting a target on himself."

All of those things were said by KK and Clinkscale today. It was ridiculous.

If you thought you were going to be punched. Maybe reflect on what am I doing to deserve possibly being clocked?

Funny how someone posted how the Cards management isn't ok being .500 shows they dont tolerate mediocrity, but others say the press is being too mean on our shitty 3B. Contradictory. Fact: local media here has always been soft. Moose should thank his lucky stars he's not hitting .150 in Philly or New York

I'd have to hear the interview, but the Royals as an organization appear to get easily butt hurt when being criticized by the media. The KC media is pretty soft, so I'd hate to see how some of these guys would handle being on the coast.
