He can look in the mirror in that blinged out set he built in his house for the NFL Draft.

That's a HELL of a pick for Atlanta.

They've really added some damn good players to that defense. Overpaid for that pick at 24 but they have picked up some damn nice talent on that side of the ball.

He's ****ing old, man. And his QB being a demanding is what kinda wore him slick in Seattle.

I just can't see him being eager to get back into that game.

But hell, at this point - why not?

More the Brady connection. From what I understand he's been mentoring Sanders. If he isn't getting taken here with back to back Raiders as to how just off-putting he really is.

That’s the biggest remaining need.

brashard smith
lequint allen
jaydon blue
tahj brooks
woody marks
damien martinez

in no particular order but i will say lequint, blue, and brashard are my absolute favorites of the bunch.

I have wanted few things in life more than Brady Cook to get drafted ahead of Shedeur Sanders.

I mean there's no way to argue talent at that point. It's just the entire league calling you a monumental asshole.

slow developing plays? Sure. Shit offensive line causing our QB to brain lock? Sure.

Drafting a WR instead of leaning into the strength of this draft doesn't change any of those things.

I won't disagree some of this could be our scheme needs a face lift. As DJ said we run alot through TK and he is 2 steps slower or more now. I realize the draft isn't over I just hope we address some of this in the later rounds.

BryanBusby 04-25-2025 09:11 PM

I don't KNOW, but what I SUSPECT is that with the offensive line crumbling immediately at the snap, Mahomes was leaning on his binky. Now, I have no idea why the coaching staff didn't adjust-and they didn't. They just kept dialing up deep crossers with no chance to develop. Screens? Nah. Quick hitters to get the offense back in a rhythm? Nah.

I don't know. It was confusing as hell. I don't get it. But it wasn't lack of available team speed.

This was a good draft for DL, and we got two good ones. A nice ball hawking corner with great length. and yeah, a LT with a questionable injury that Veach and Reid seem perfectly at ease with. Wasn't what I wanted, either, but if they're right it'll be the steal of the draft.

I bet we get a nice RB in round 4. I like Brashard Smith or perhaps Bayshul Tuten. There's some speed for ya.

and don't forget they signed Mitchell to the room. He should be a nice Mckinnon type.

TomBarndtsTwin 04-25-2025 09:18 PM

Good pick by Denver there.

TomBarndtsTwin 04-25-2025 09:20 PM

ljmhawk 04-25-2025 09:40 PM

Chiefs need to go offense now…WR or RB

Passepartout 04-25-2025 09:42 PM

Yeah really need to bulk up OL for sure. As really Patrick wasn't that well protected sadly in the SB!

They’ve had a really good offseason IMO

But you don't have to conjure one.

There are a half-dozen guys on the board in the 4.3/low 4.4s. Including the guy he wanted (Lane).

And hey, maybe Brown was still dinged up - but his legs shoulda been fine and he definitely wasn't moving the needle much.

I mean the biggest issue may have nothing to do with the WR room and everything to do with offensive design. We still ran through Kelce. And the guy is running in quicksand these days.

You could probably run an offense with the personnel we have that gets itself into open space better by just not running it through TK anymore. Because on paper there does appear to be enough speed there.

But in the field, I just have a hard time saying that it didnt look DAMN slow.

Believe it for RB. No so much for WR

Now for a very under the radar but excellent draft so far, the Arizona Cardinals are ****ing crushing it.

Nolen, Will Johnson and Burch are 3 great picks on that defense.

FloridaMan88 04-25-2025 10:49 PM

No reason to draft a RB this year. Draft one next year to replace Pacheco. No need this year.

So glad the Chiefs didn't listen to you guys and waste a Top 3 Round pick on running back.

el borracho 04-26-2025 12:15 AM

Well, we can debate about the specific players but the positions Veach drafted are pretty unassailable. All positions of need, all strengths of this particular draft.

bigjosh 04-26-2025 06:02 AM

I love how the defense is looking. High potential players at positions that have:
- aging veterans
-upcoming free agents

I think all three defensive picks will contribute day 1.

Im ecstatic if we come away from today wit guys like damien martinez and jaylin conyers

No need to take one early, I agree, but absolutely want one today.

YOU see a full RB room, I see a lack of juice. I'd like a BETTER option than high mileage Hunt and Pacheco.

FloridaMan88 04-26-2025 07:47 AM

Anyone who thinks the Chiefs RB situation is fine as is, is completely ignoring the fact that the Chiefs longest run last season was 34 yards.

That’s historically awful.

I wasn't just that. They had like 17 plays all season of over 15 yards. Like you said, historically bad.

htismaqe 04-26-2025 08:28 AM

I'm really pleased with the Chiefs' draft so far. It all hinges on Simmons. If he becomes the starting LT, this draft looks like a home run. I really love what they did with drafting defense.

RunKC 04-26-2025 08:42 AM

LT, explosive playmakers, CB and pass rush

I thought those were our biggest glaring weaknesses. We’ve addressed 3 of 4 in a big way. I hope we address WR and RB today.

Get more speed and playmaking ability

Wouldn’t surprise me to see Veach trade up for a RB in the fourth round

kccrow 04-26-2025 08:51 AM

We need a WLB that can run and hit more than anything IMO.

The division added Ashton Jeanty, Omarion Hampton, and RJ Harvey. We see a lot of running QBs in the playoffs.

I don't trust Tranquill to be what he was and carry us through the season. We have no depth worth a shit.

Right now, a lot of good ones out there... Stutsman, Carter, Paul, Mondon, Bassa

That said, I wouldn't hate a move up in 4 for Dylan Sampson but I think we could easily wait until 5 for a RB.

Yeah we need a little luck with Simmons and the LT position. That works out and we're good!

Fluffed up titled secretary in the spotlight exemplifies the NFLs front of caring about diversity and inclusivity to the normies. Deep down we all know that she announces picks in between answering Rog’s emails, booking his private jet and hotel stays and getting him coffee. Rog’s wife ain’t letting him have a hot young secretary.

What is up with Rich Eisen repeatedly thinking the Raiders were a logical landing spot for Shedeur. Pete Carroll is there now and went and got his old buddy Geno Smith. They aren't looking for a QB.
