Yea. And given that our defense has one hell of a test on Sunday, that could easily change things one way or the other.

And I could see Veach wanting to see how our defense looks against a legitimate offense before making a decision.

I can't understand for the life of me, how you actually believe that Veach is just sitting on his hands because a trade hasn't happened. He has been trying since this time last year to trade for Patrick Peterson, but the Cards won't trade him. He nearly had a deal done for Earl Thomas before he got injured. He tried to get Jalen Ramsey, but the Jags wouldn't trade with him at any price. He tried to trade for Fitzpatrick, but the Steelers have a better draft position. It takes both sides to make a deal. Veach has been making every effort to trade for secondary help. It just hasn't worked out. That is NOT sitting on his hands.

You know what you’re right! Thank you for showing me the light. I just want this defense to be better. I know it’s better than last year but a LB or CB could make this a top 10 D! I’ll give him one more week and see what kind trickery he has up his sleeve.
